As advertised, this screen protector fits the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5 (13 inch) perfectly and drastically reduces glare. Installation is exactly the same as applying a screen protector to a phone, just bigger. And bigger means more space for error, more space for bubbles, and more space for dust. Installation is NOT difficult, you just need to take it slow and do your best to prep the area to have the least amount of dust possible and then prepare yourself for the inevitable .

The protector is a film probably PET type. The package comes with a microfiber cloth but no wipes. The film has sticker on both side. The idea is to peel off one side (Number 1), lay it on top of the device, and then peel off the other side. Installation is quite tricky. It's much harder to apply than a glass one because the protector is flexible. What I would do is to apply some masking tape on the (#2) side to use as a handle. Clean the screen and wash your hand and then use some tape to pull off any dust particle. This part is quite important because you will most likely get some dust. Make sure you wash your hands too. I would then peel off the #1 and then align the protector around the camera hole and line it up along that edge and keep moving it around until it's align before laying the rest down. Be real careful not to bend the screen. It will develop a crimp that will can't be removed. It's more important to make sure that the protector lines up if you use a case, because if the case overlaps with the protector, the protector will lift. Next examine the screen and push out the bubbles with a credit card or finger. Don't remove #2 yet. You may notice that some bubbles can't be removed. This is cause by dust particles. To rid them, get a wad of tape, use another tape to lift the protector and use the tape remove the dust particle. Be sure not to leave a finger print underneath the protector. Usually I end up with several dust particles. Once all of the bubbles are out, Lift the #2 carefully and slowly or you'll end up peeling off your screen protector. You want to do this last since pushing out the bubble will scratch up the protector, but as long as it's protected by #2 peel, it's ok. With the protector in place, you will see that the screen is no longer reflective. As with all film type protector, there is some loss of clarity, but it's not that noticable. You should not be able to notice that there was a screen protector. However, the antiglare does not work in direct sunlight. If you shine a line on it, there will be a glare so the antiglare feature is a bust. However, the matted screen does resist fingerprints. Fingerprints does not show as much. The chief reason I got this was because I needed it to protect against the stylus. In the event there is some dirt, the screen could get scratched up. I wanted to use a film type protector because based on my experience with ipads, a temper glass protector can add wobbles to diagonal lines. Drawing on it using a Penoval USI 702 stylus, there wasn't any noticable wobble and the pen did not leave a trail on the protector. Drawing on it is different than drawing it on smooth glass. It has a drag like writing on paper, but it's definitely not like writing on paper. There is also a rougher feel to the finger when you touch it. All in all, I like the product even if it is not antiglare. It protectors the screen from scratches and fingerprinting. There are 2 more in the package in case it gets scratched up.
