Review: EDIT: Fabulous product - takes (acrylic) colours nicely, blends well, doesn't lose tone/hue. One of the things I really like is when experimenting by adding coloured acrylic paints is to not blend it completely but have coloured streaks - it makes for very interesting effects - almost candy-like, or dreamy cloud-like. Lots of fun! Will have to re-order soon, I'm starting to run low. I can recommend this! My rating is 5 stars!

**Q: when mixing with an acrylic color - does the color dull?**
A: No

**Q: Can this be used for ceramics?**
A: depending on what you mean, depends on the answer.  If you are using it for crafts to glue pieces of finished ceramics to something or to adhere as in mixed media collage or assemblage, then yes.  If your question is to use for creating ceramics with a kiln, I have no idea.  but I would doubt it

**Q: How clear does this dry in thicker spots?**
A: In my experience, it dries pretty clear. It will have more texture in the thicker spots and you can see brush strokes if you're using a brush to apply it.

**Q: Is this the same a matte gel medium?**
A: Matte gel medium  doesn't have a shine. Regular medium has a glossy look.
