I recently purchased the Hicarer Rotating Display Stand (5.4" diameter, 6.6 lbs capacity), and it has exceeded my expectations. As described. I use for photography of my small projects

I have no idea if it happens to all models but when I had it running for a few minutes, it automatically shuts off and it overheats. Upon grabbing it and taking out the batteries, it was hot to the touch. Would recommend but don’t run it for several minutes.

Would be great to have a different power source

I was so overly happy with this purchase. It was the perfect size, it was an actual mirror, it actually used batteries and a cord. The first time I used it was only a test to see if it worked, and it did! All of the buttons did what they were supposed to do. The packaging didn't bring instructions so I had to come back to this listing to know what the buttons meant, and how to turn it off. The second time I used it was with actual products for my shop, it worked for a couple of minutes, until it suddenly stopped doing 360 turns. It did the 40 perfectly, but once you went over that, it would just stop mid turn, and not want to continue turning. If you pressed the button to change the setting, or to move to the right, it would move very little, around 4mm. Not even a full inch would it turn. I'd turn it on and off to try and I guess reset it, and the same problem would arise. I had to return it, it was absolutely useless at that point because I only got it to get 360 views of my products.

I just got this motorized rotation stand.It is just as described.NOTE= I got the smaller size, ----since I needed it for my smaller (lightweight) objects only.This Stand has these tiny buttons on the side so you can adjust it,--- if you want it to rotate faster or slower or in a variety of rotation twirls---fast or slow.I use this stand when taking videos of my smaller objects. I also use it when taking videos of my BARBIE or SKIPPER dolls, and when taking videos of my Jewelry products (such as bracelets and earrings).The price was also very reasonable.By the way, it does NOT come w/ English instructions---however, if you see the product in the listing, it has a video on the very end, so you can see how to use this product--and that is indeed in English.Thus, I would recommend that when you get it, just go back to the Listing and check out the Video, and then that way, you will know how to use the tiny buttons on the side.

I purchased this for creation of product videos. The turntable itself looks good. However, the turntable does not rotate smoothly. It speeds up and slows down as it turns. Also, I tried to photograph a lamp that wasnt very heavy, but it will not turn at all when it is on it.
