I recently purchased a car with the AUX input in the glove compartment and my big thick old AUX cable was getting in the way of closing the glovebox when running the cable to my ipod in the cup-holder. This Cable completely solved that problem, its flat and thin enough to get between the gap of the glove compartment, to completely close it and not put pressure on the cable.
