Absolutely amazed at this filter I also bought the recommended pump my pond water was green and we couldn't see the fish at all, I put it on Saturday night before work and its only Tuesday today we can finally see the fish its not 100% clear yet but in a few days no visibility at all to finally see the fish were absolutely chuffed to bits this is the best filter ive ever used 1000% recommended anyone buying this

Bought this to clear a very green large holding pond for about 20 fish. Fitted it on the 6th and by 11th it was running clear. Very impressed and think it will only get better. Had to buy some pipework from the local aquatic centre to set it up and attach it to my pump but it was fairly straight forward. Haven’t tried the spinning cleaning yet so can’t comment on that but it’s achieved what I bought it for which was to clear some pea soup water. I can see my fish again. Tried the spin clean this evening and after a stupid mistake found it to work very well. Lots of very dirty water discharged. Don’t forget to to turn the blue handle on the top to point in the waste pipe direction otherwise it goes back into the pond.

This is great. Good, solid plastics. Our pond was green with absolutely no visibility through the water. I bought this filter and the matching pump and plugged them in. It took a week or so before we started to see any results. Even from day one we could see the filter working, as diverting the outlet hose and winding the handle delivered a stinking bucket of mud. Another review says that the foams get clogged easily which stops them being turned by the paddle and so they don't clean, but I haven't found this. After 2 weeks and the pond really starting to sort out I took the lid off to clean the foams and the bottom one was resisting turning but I think this was more to do with it sitting on the balls in the bottom of the bucket. The filter continues to give me a lovely brown bucket of fertiliser every time I turn the handle. We're 6 weeks in now and our pond water has never been so clear. So much so that we realised we have twice the number of fish we thought we had. It's a good 3 feet deep in the middle with a black liner and on a sunny day you can count the fish at the bottom, even the black ones. We're really pleased with this filter. The only problem is that now the fish are so visible we need to work something out to keep the heron away.

The product is great. It took about 10 days to clear my pond after installing. Customer service for returns on the other hand is very poor. I ordered the wrong pump by mistake initially and sent it back promptly the same day. I ordered the new pump the same time as I couldn’t wait. I am now into the 3rd week of waiting for a refund. I was told today that I have been refunded and to expect it in my account in the next 5-7days. They are quick enough to take your cash but not to return it. Great product, poor customer service.
