As a Harvard trained historian, I hold high standards for works of history. This book met those standards.

Just got the book. Wimpy greyish print in a print-on-demand copy. The publisher saved money on ink while charging $25 for the book. Otherwise, fine.

Arrived in good condition. Use it for research

I used this as a textbook for a Spanish history class I'm taking. This book does indeed chronicle Spain's history, from the Paleolithic era all the way to this current decade. It's a fascinating read and you learn a great deal from it, though there are some parts that are just miserable to try and read. You'll likely have to read chapters more than once to really get the material.

An excellent piece of work.

I’m going to Spain soon and thought I should read a book for a quick refresher on Spain’s history and this book was perfect for that. I did notice that certain unfavorable moments of Spain’s history were glossed over a little but overall it is well written and easy to get through.
