I was so tired of SHORT bike lock cables! I took the plunge and bought this one. It's 15' long. It is so easy now to weave it through your bike (securing both wheels). We have 2 bikes that we often lock up together and this is still long enough to get them both locked up. It is a super high quality cable with plastic coating, so doesn't scratch. I feel very secure using it (it's much thicker than standard bike lock/cables. I don't think it will rust any time soon! I use it ALL the time. It's currently got my tool boxes locked inside the back of my truck. I just need to get one more of these! Will totally but this again!

I used this security cable to lock my paddleboards and bike together as a bit of a theft deterrent. It’s the perfect, long lets and easy to use. The cable itself is nice and thick and durable, so I think any potential thieves would struggle with cutting it quickly. Definitely functions the way it should, I’m happy with my purchase compared to some other, more expensive brands.

While I have not tried to cut or break this thing in any way, it certainly looks and feels like that might be quite a task. Where I live, you now have to lock your weapon in the trunk of your car, not just in the glovebox, when you are unable to enter an area such as a school or federal building. I drive a little box on wheels, and there is no trunk, so I bought a Pelican case, a couple of big solid locks, and this cable. I chain it all to the steel tie downs protruding from the insides of my car's body. I know that a determined thief could undo any attempt I make to keep what has taken me a lifetime to acquire (not much, really, but I've worked hard for it), but I think this setup might slow down most who come unprepared; meanwhile, I am in compliance with the law, which is important for those of us who want to protect our second amendment rights. I am a licensed, well-trained, veteran who knows that life is not always sunshine and roses, so I choose to carry a weapon to hopefully protect myself, my family, or those around me who might be in need of help. I am one of the many CCW holders who obey the laws; yet so many in society seem determined to make it ever harder for folks like me to be there for them when the other types of gun carriers, the ones who don't give a damn about the law or other people's lives, come looking for them. Anyway, this seems to be a very sturdy, well-made cable, and I would buy it again.

Its actually very nice, seems very sturdy and well built too. Only thing I'd say is make sure to buy the six foot, the four is a little short for bikes.
