Does it change the feel of the mattress? Some protectors make a "crinkling" noise or makes the bed feel more stiff.. Thanks in advance!

It makes my bed feel like a plastic hospital bed. i feel static as well. There is noise, it doesnt make the bed seem more stiff.

It's just for the mattress and you can buy one for the boxsprings which is what I did ,really easy to put on and works great

My daughter has it on her dorm room mattress which was white as well. It's not transparent. It is a white encasement. When putting it on the mattress, I don't recall being able to see through it. So far no complaints from my daughter.

Definitely fits a double mattress

Had this on an offer deal so wasn't expecting much. Seems to be good quality and easy to fit by standing mattress upright. Fit my double mattress in the spare room no problem. No sure whether it would stretch to fit a king size mattress though. Good value.

I think this is made for the US market so I ordered “Full” which is a little big for a Double but otherwise good value for money.

100% noisy and plastic

I received a Linenspa protector, but the picture on the packaging was different to what's on the website. My main driver was to buy noiseless yet waterproof protector and this protector failed me. It felt plastic to the touch and was noisy when rolled on.
