This lamp is incredible. The installation was very easy. The light is very bright and can easily be dimmed to your liking. It's very sturdy and well built. Would highly recommend it.

Extremely well-made, aesthetically pleasing, high-quality light. It was also very easy to assemble. I particularly like the brightness of the light and the ability to change light temperature. Well worth the money.

I needed a replacement light after my Ottlite stopped working after having it for quite a few year. It was a great light, but this time I didn't want to spend over $100 to get a new one. So I bought the less expensive Brightech light. This light looks very similar to the Ottlite, which I wanted. It's nice and bright, and you can cycle through to different light intensities as well. This was not a feature I necessarily wanted, but now that I have it, it's nice to have. The light has a very solid and heavy base, so it will not tip over easily. It was easy to put together. It took about 15 minutes. The only issue I have with it is how the light and the 3 metal poles attach to the base. You screw the last pole onto a collar that attaches to the base. It's not as sturdy and solid as I would like it to be. For that I could only rate this as 4 Stars.

I bought this Brightech Litespan LED 2nd Edition Reading Floor Lamp to replace my father's similarly styled flourescent lamp that no longer worked. This lamp is totally superior to the older one in virtually every way, and comes with a three-year warranty. It arrived packaged in a well-cushioned protective styrofoam container inside a sturdy cardboard box, which itself was inside a normal cardboard shipping box. It has three light colors to choose from (6000K, like bright noontime sunlight; 4000K, like cool white flourescent lights; and 3000K, like warm incandescent light bulbs). Each of these light colors, once selected, is dimmable from extremely bright to low. A single push button switch accomplishes the selection and dimming functions. The light remembers the selection, so it will come on the next time the way you previously had it set. The LED's are covered by a frosted diffuser to eliminate glare. The lamp is well made and sturdy, with a nicely weighted base to keep it stable. The head is adjustable in every direction. The pole consists of three threaded sections that are screwed together, and one section could be left out to make it shorter if desired. For assembly, the only tool required is a Phillips head screwdriver for a single screw at the base. Assembly instructions are included with a simple to follow diagram, easy enough for almost anyone. Note that all three pole sections are different and must be assembled in the correct order (as shown and explained in the instructions). Just be certain to screw the pole sections tightly together straight, without crossthreading. Everything should easily fit together so that the dividing lines between sections almost disappear. Line up the hole in the bottom section before attempting to put the screw in. Total assembly time was about five or ten minutes The back of the assembly instructions provides directions for operating the lamp to get the various colors and dimming levels from the push button switch. After a minute or two of reading the directions and experimenting with the switch, most people should have no problem using the light with their own preferences. I liked this light so well that after giving one to my father I ordered another one for myself.

My wife "borrowed" the lamp beside my reading chair for her needlepoint and I needed a replacement. Ordered this product for the features, size, and positive reviews from others. Now, after two weeks, we are fighting over who gets it and who has to use the old one. What we both like best: 1. It is bright. The top end lumens was something important to both of us, and this lamp puts out the brightness we both wanted. 2. It is dimmable. Nice to be able to throttle back to reduce eye strain. 3. It has different warm/cool light settings. This was, by far, the best for both of us. My wife is a photographer and something of a "photon snob". She *hates* most LEDs because they don't have that warm, incandescent glow. This lamp has a warm light setting that is just right. Not too orange or green. Very much like a good ol' Edison light bulb. For me, I use it to study. I have found that with warm light I have a hard time seeing my yellow highlighter. With this lamp, I switch to the cooler blue setting and the highlighter pops. The reviews didn't say anything about a "night light" on the lamp, though. Convenient for finding the switch at night, for sure. And it is verrry subtle and dim. For those like me who need absolute dark to sleep well, just be aware of the feature. Not a real negative. Sturdy, solid weight, went together easy. Would buy again!

I’ve had two of these lamps for six years, and they’re the only LED lamps I have that haven’t started to flicker or flash within a short amount of time or hurt my eyes in some ways The light feels broad and steady unlike most LED lamps; it almost feels incandescent. It’s *great* light for drawing and writing. The quality and stability of the lamp pole are poor - one of my lamps leans at a noticeable angle after having been moved a few times - but I am still giving five stars because the quality of the light is so good (as long as they haven’t changed the LEDs in that time).

Excellent for indirect lighting (off ceiling or wall), very flexible neck. My only complaint -- I would prefer soft white to daylight white.

This lamp is easy to assemble and reasonably priced. It has a lot of great features. I like that it has four variations of white light and that it has stepless dimming. It is excellent for reading fine print and doing craft work. I also am pleased that with its flexible neck it can be turned to face upward to light the ceiling and thus flood in the entire room with extra light when that option is desired. The yellow power button stays lit when the lamp is off so that it can be found in the dark. The only thing it lacks is a remote control which some of the other LED lamps do have. For some reason these LED lamps are equipped with thin delicate cords on heavy plugs so I got cord protector for both my lamps. Am so glad to finally have good lighting. This really fills the bill.

Greet light

Straightforward, easy to assemble. Colour of the "white" lamp itself is more like a light gray. Brightness of the lamp is just as expected, varying between bright/soft/warm and dimmable for each level. Not as bright as a daylight lamp but definitely bright and much much cheaper than a daylight lamp. Shorter than most floor lamps, but this works great for shining directly at your workspace or desk or craft area, instead of towards the roof. I have a very dark corner needing to get brightened up and this is easily maneuvered for optimal placement. First photo is lamp on the brightest white setting, second photo is the lamp off.

This lamp was delivered a week early, which impressed me and so did the lamp which I needed for my new downsized quarters in a seniors’ residence. It goes together quite quickly and the hardest part was threading the wires down each tube before screwing in the next one. I use this light for my portable art table and then swivel it around for my recliner reading lamp. A nice bright white light, but I find the switch irritating although I can live with it. A simple on/off switch would have been preferable to this temperamental sometimes on and sometimes off switch. You never quite know how many times to push the button to get what you want. That said, this is an ideal lamp at a competitive price.
