Cheap and Cheerful
Fast delivery and a good product stops my oyster and bank card from being activated.Read this and decide if you think its worth the effort!http://www.theguardian.com/money/2015/jul/23/contactless-card-is-too-easy-says-whichConsumers who use contactless debit and credit cards to buy goods or services could be unwittingly opening their bank account up to fraudsters, according to an investigation by Which?Researchers bought cheap, widely available card scanners from a mainstream website to see if they could “steal” key details from a contactless card. They tested 10 different credit and debit cards, that were meant to be coded to “mask” personal data, and were able to read crucial data that was meant to be hidden. It then went shopping with the information it had obtained and was able to successfully place orders for items including a £3,000 television set.

Good security for your card
A friend recently had her card stopped because someone had tried to use it and now my card is contactless, this prompted my purchase of the blocking card.I am very pleased with the card protector as its very sturdy yet fits neatly into my purse. It takes no time in removing my card from it and I followed the instruction and tested it in a shop, I just held the card protector which contained my bank card, over the card machine at the point of paying and nothing happened.I feel my card is now more secure and would advise everyone to make the purchase.

This works. Call it an expensive piece of lined card or what you will but it does exactly what I want it to do. I have a separate ID and Oyster card pouch which doubles up as an ID chain when I have to wear it around my neck. The ID opens doors & makes cashless payments and the Oyster card works. I did just cut it in half and trim it down a bit otherwise the Oyster card still didn't work. But that did the job. My husband has the other half and it works for him too and saves us fiddling with the card carrier/wallet.

Really does the job
If you slide a card wallet containing both an Oyster tralvelcard and a contactless credit card across a NFC reader, it complains that you've presented too many cards and the poor device doesn't know which to use.The Koruma sleeve may look and feel like its made from thick paper, but once the credit card is inside the sleeve, the NFC reader at the gate no longer detects the credit card and just reads the travelcard. The sleeve is large enough for the card to slide in and out easily, but is still small enough to fit inside the original plastic sleeve of the card wallet. This RF ID blocking sleeve does exactly what I wanted, in the way that I wanted it done.

Works but flimsy
I'm using the koruma to protect my contactless debit card and it works a charm. I've tested the koruma with an NFC phone and while the card was inside the koruma, it was not recognisable by the phone's NFC chip. However, having it for a little over three months now, it's getting pretty torn up from taking out and inserting the card into the koruma again as they are made of a paper/card type material. I would buy more of these if they were made of a plastic instead of paper/card, but when this one breaks completely, I shall be looking into getting a wallet that has an RFID protective shield inside it.
