Great for Straightening Curly Hair and Easier to Handle
Great product! I have very curly hair, and this has become my go-to tool for straightening. It does a really good job smoothing and straightening my hair quickly. I will say itโs a little harder to get a full blowout look with lots of curls or volume using this version, but it works very well for sleek, straight styles. If I want more body, I usually add curling rods afterward. This is the smaller/thinner version of the original, which I personally prefer because it feels lighter and easier to handle. Overall, a great styling tool.

One of the best hairdryers I've ever owned
I bought this reasonably priced hairdryer to give it a try - hoping it would speed up my routine and encourage me to blow out my hair more, rather than just sticking it in a clip after showering. I expected there to be a learning curve, but I found it to be very user friendly. I like it so much, that I've stopped using my very expensive hairdryer than was supposed to use ion technology to make hair shiny. This makes my hair shiny and soft, and after using it for months, I don't notice any damage to my hair. A couple of minor points: 1) the settings are written on the handle which you twist to change. It took a minute to get used to, but it's probably no more difficult than changing the settings on any other hairdryer. 2) "cool" isn't very cool - it's more like "room temp", so if you like to use cool to lock in your style, I'm not sure the tepid air does the trick. That said, I was so impressed with this, I bought one for each of my daughters.

It works & easy to use
Great product for the price, easy to use. If you dry your hair to 75/80% - you can get a blow dry in the next 5 min. Best approach is to broadly section your hair, to get the best bounce and dry hair . Hair gets the blow dry shine and bounce even without the hair protectant. Light weight and not as noisy as the other reviews. Once hair is dryed use it for styling as you want- quick and very functional- esp for daily use. Cord length is convenient, quite powerful. Just be careful not to take a very big section as hair can get stuck in the machine grooves - focus on keeping them on the brush area only. One sentence- if not the Dyson, choose this over a regular dryer for that smoothness and bounce.

Works Well and Gets the Job Done
This styler does a good job of drying and adding volume at the same time. Itโs easy to use and makes styling quicker with good results. Overall, it works well and does what itโs supposed to do.

Better than Dyson on Coarse, Thick Hair
I have bought expensive blow dryers. I bought the Dyson Air Wrap (big waste of money). When I broke my wrist, I bought this as a temporary styling device because I couldnโt use two hands to do blow drying with a round brush. And - WOW. This made my thick, coarse hair look smooth and shiny. One caveat - I use the second-to/highest heat setting, which is plenty hot. Also, per Abbey Yung (hair influencer) you can easily do damage to your hair with this by mechanically yanking on your hair and roughly pulling through tangles. Donโt do that!! Use this on 80% dried hair to style it and youโll be good. And make sure your hair is deranged before you run this through, especially if you have thick hair. For best results, run it through in smaller hair sections. I know, I know, we all hate blow drying our hair and want to speed through it. But honestly, I have thick, coarse Caucasian hair to my shoulder blades and I can do my hair in 10 minutes with this (starting with it 80% dry). And I admit, at first I wrapped too much hair around the brush each time. But if you want to use a bit of tension to get the sleekest results, you donโt want to put so much hair in the brush that you get it tangled and risk breaking the hair. You donโt need a Dyson, you donโt need a Lโange. Try this first, and get over yourself on buying a Revlon branded tool you can get at a Target. There is a reason this thing has over 350,000 positive reviews on Amazon. You wonโt regret it. PS - if, like me, you have partially gray (but colored) post-menopausal frizzy hair, you NEED this. ๐. Youโre welcome.

Love the Plus - Recommend Cool Setting
I tried the original when visiting family and loved the results, so bought one. Unfortunately, the low setting on the unit I received was (as many others have reported) way too hot. It smelled like something was burning. That unit went back. Recently I was motivated to try again and noticed the Plus models. I bought the black with pink trim version, and it's just right. I love the way it tames/smooths out my thick, wavy, medium length hair... just as the original model does, but it feels better to use in three significant ways: Size, Temperature, and Volume. The difference in size between the 2.8 and 2.4 is minor, but enough to make the handle more comfortable to hold - that's the main advantage. I also prefer this 2.4 size brush for my shoulder length, somewhat layered hair - it's easier to manage. As for the temperature and volume: I'm using the low setting, and although it's still fairly hot, it functions at half the intensity and half the volume as the medium and high speeds. The overall experience is greatly improved! Btw, I don't use it to dry my hair. Instead I prefer to let my hair air-dry (until it's at least mostly dry), and then use the brush just to style it. I also use it when my hair is a little wet from washing up in the morning. In less than 5 minutes my hair looks like I just walked out of the best salon. I love this styling brush! Highly recommend the Plus! Update June 2024: I'm switching to the Cool setting, and recommend this as a precaution. The other settings, including Low are all hot. The Cool setting is actually lukewarm. It's comfortable. I'm sharing this update because, although I successfully used the Low setting 1-2 x's a week for a solid 5 months, quite suddenly my hair has been looking straw-like in the places where I've used it most... looks awful. In trying to figure out what caused this damage, I recall a couple times recently using the brush to dry my hair when it was still rather damp. This was in contrast to all the other times when my hair was pretty much dry. To be safe, when I use this in the future, after my hair is restored, I'll go back to using it just for styling, not drying, and will only use the Cool setting. Meanwhile, I bought some Moroccan Oil to help smooth and restore my hair... it feels softer, but still looks damaged. I think it'll take a couple of hair cuts to get back to normal.

A highly functional tool for those seeking an efficient way to achieve volume in hair look and feel
The REVLON One-Step Volumizer PLUS Hair Dryer and Styler is a popular tool designed to streamline hair styling by combining the functions of a hair dryer and a styling brush. Hereโs an in-depth review based on its features, performance, and user feedback: Pros: Two-in-One Functionality: The REVLON One-Step Volumizer PLUS integrates a hair dryer and a styling brush, which can save time and reduce the number of tools needed. This makes it ideal for creating a salon-like blowout at home. Volume and Shine: The brush is specifically designed to add volume and shine. It helps to lift roots and smooth the hair, creating a fuller, bouncier look. This feature is particularly beneficial for those with flat or fine hair. Multiple Heat and Speed Settings: This model typically offers several heat and speed settings, allowing for customization based on hair type and styling needs. This flexibility helps achieve various styles and manage different hair textures. Ceramic Coating: The ceramic coating on the brush helps distribute heat evenly, reducing the risk of heat damage and preventing hot spots. This feature contributes to a smoother finish and less frizz. Ionic Technology: The built-in ionic technology helps to reduce frizz and static, leading to smoother and shinier hair. It works by breaking down water molecules more effectively, which speeds up drying and enhances the overall finish. Ergonomic Design: The tool is designed to be user-friendly with a comfortable grip, making it easier to handle during use. The brushโs bristles are usually flexible and detangle hair while styling, which can save time and effort. Cons: Bulkiness and Weight: The tool can be quite bulky and heavier compared to traditional hair dryers and styling brushes. This might cause fatigue during extended use, especially for users with longer hair. Learning Curve: Some users may need time to get used to the technique required to achieve the best results. It can take a bit of practice to master the angle and pressure for optimal volume and styling. Heat Distribution: While the ceramic coating aids in even heat distribution, some users report that the heat output may not be as intense as a professional dryer. This could impact drying time and effectiveness, particularly for thicker hair. Noise Level: The device tends to be noisier than some other hair styling tools. This might be a consideration for those sensitive to noise or who prefer a quieter styling experience. Price: The REVLON One-Step Volumizer PLUS is generally more expensive than basic hair dryers and manual brushes. The price may be a factor for those on a tighter budget. Cord Length: Some users find the cord to be shorter than desired, which can limit mobility and convenience during use. Overall: The REVLON One-Step Volumizer PLUS Hair Dryer and Styler is a highly functional tool for those seeking an efficient way to achieve volume and a polished look with minimal effort. Its combination of drying and styling capabilities, along with features like ceramic coating and ionic technology, make it a popular choice for many users. However, its bulkiness, noise level, and price might be drawbacks for some. If youโre looking for a versatile and time-saving styling tool and donโt mind the extra weight or cost, this product can be a valuable addition to your hair care routine.

I love it!
I love this! My first experience with a blow dry brush was one I purchased at a discount department store about two years ago. I dropped it and broke it, so now I needed to replace it. I read reviews on the web and this one had high marks. I've used it a handful of times and I freaking love it. I have long thick hair, so I divide it into six or eight sections and brush through it slowly. I also wait until my hair is at least half dry (I would never go straight to blow drying with a full wet head of hair). It makes my hair silky smooth, doesn't matter if I use heat protectant conditioning spray or not. It works well, and fast (using my method of partially dry hair). Great price for a great blow drying tool. I prefer this over my regular hair dryer, as I have to use that with a brush (and then both hands are full, this only takes one hand). The high, med, low settings are great. And the cool setting is an extra bonus that I didn't have before (I like to cool my hair before I'm done so it doesn't scald me after the fact). Definitely recommend.

Perfect!
So worth the price. I don't need to use blow dryer and then style my hair with a straightener or curling iron. It does it both. Because my hair is relatively thin, I use low temperature. Drying and styling in 15 minutes.
