Having that 1" wrench fitment makes the handling of taking that filter in or out super easy and simple. I have a Dodge Nitro 08, it is basically a Jeep Liberty KK - The oil filter there is one of the worst designs I've had ever seen - even with a 1" socket I could not fit a wrench there but taking just a normal nut wrench made that task doable! It makes it east to remove with the 1 inch nut on the end. It cleans the oil well and saw thus when i had my engine rebuilt in my ranger.
