Dezitrek Bag: Who Knew Handwashing Could Be This Easy (ish)?
Alright, so when I saw this Dezitrek bag pop up, I was intrigued but also a little skeptical. A laundry *bag* that's also a *scrub board*? Sounded a bit like a gimmick, but I'm always looking for clever solutions, especially for travel or those "delicate" items I don't trust to the machine. Well, I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed! It's essentially a large, durable dry bag with a textured, flexible "washboard" surface built into the inside. The idea is simple: you toss in your clothes, some water, a bit of detergent, seal it up tightly, and then you just rub your clothes against that textured internal surface from the outside of the bag. I've used it a few times now. Once for some socks and underwear on a weekend camping trip – worked like a charm for getting the grime out. The second time was for a couple of silk blouses that usually get hand-washed in the sink. This was actually *way* easier and less messy than trying to scrub them by hand in a basin. The large size is great; it's big enough for a decent handful of smaller items or maybe 2-3 larger shirts, but still folds down surprisingly compact when you're done. It really does mimic the action of a traditional scrub board, but without the bulk or the splashing mess. The seal seems super secure, which is obviously important when you've got soapy water sloshing around. **Pros:** * **Surprisingly effective:** The internal scrub board genuinely helps get clothes clean. * **Portable:** Folds down small for travel, camping, or just tucking away. * **Less messy:** Contains the water and soap, no splashing all over your bathroom or campsite. * **Good for delicates:** A gentle alternative to machine washing. * **Durable:** Seems well-made and the material feels tough. **Things to keep in mind:** * It's still handwashing! It takes effort, and you'll still need to rinse the clothes thoroughly afterward (usually just in a clean bucket or sink). * Remember to open it up and let it air dry completely after use to prevent any mildew smells. Overall, if you do a lot of camping, travel often, live in a small apartment without laundry, or just have a lot of delicates you prefer to hand wash, this Dezitrek bag is a genuinely handy tool. It's not going to replace your washing machine for big loads, but for small, quick, or gentle washes, it's a solid, clever solution that really works. Definitely glad I gave it a shot!

Cleans clothes and good exercise
I tested Dezitrek out first on the dog's towel and a filthy kitchen rag. Both came out smelling clean. Next I tried a half load of underwear and a shirt. Great results. Then a load of 2 t-shirts, 1 pj pants, and multiple pairs of socks (basically filling the bag up to the highest line) - that was some serious exercise, but everything still came out clean. I do follow slightly different directions than what's on the bag. The very first time I used it I had some trouble filling the bag with water, keeping it upright while stuffing the rags in. After that I put the clothes in first and then added the water. The other thing I do differently is after plunging the clothes for a few seconds (basically making sure everything is submerged and mixing the soap in) I close the bag up and let things sit for 20 minutes or so, then plunge again for a few minutes before dumping the water out. I've found that pulling the clothes out and squeezing the dirty wash water out does make rinsing them easier. The last tip I have is to use a laundry bar as it is significantly easer to rinse the soap out. I also add washing soda and borax (very small amounts) to the wash water. Just a note of caution - there's some stitching on the bottom of the bag. I don't know if they are just decorative or practical, but it is an area that gets a lot of wear and tear and in some areas the stitching is already coming loose. Even so the bag is not leaking. I have some plumber's tape waiting if needed.

Perfect to have for camping or your washer stops working
Our washing machine went out on us unexectedly. Does anybody really expect their washing machine to stop working? Anyway, i still had a load in the washer that needed to be pulled out soaking wet; the tub was still full of water. The part was going to take forever to arrive. I immediately searched for a camping no electricity needed alternative. Then i found this. It worked great. Got us through enough until our part finally arrived. Now i keep it packed awsy for just in case we ever need it again. My only regret is that I hadn't been proactive and purchased it before our washer stopped working.

We bought this for rinsing our cloth diapers while camping and it's perfect for that. Give a really good rinse when no bidet is available.

I bought this item because I am planning to drive across the country car camping. This worked very well for my laundry. Even without purchasing their wringer, the clothes dried in 1/2 a day. I will use it on days I plan to stay in one location for a day or two. Its vert sturdy and packs well
