Since my bed is a queen I took advantage of the sale and bought a king for an Extremely reasonable price! The fit is perfect- goes to the floor on both sides. I don't use shams ( & don't have king pillows anyway,...) so although the spread goes to the floor at the foot, it would require the shams to cover the head- not a problem here. It's lightweight; I needed a spread but can't handle the heat of other types & don't want to chase quilts and comforters around the floor when making the bed anyway.
