Either that or you have a weak capacitor! **Q: Can this be used in a furnace or an AC. Are furnace contactors & ac condensor contactors the same thing ?** A: I used it on an AC condenser. Just connect to correct terminals. It works good. **Q: Will this work on a guardian a/c unit?** A: If your existing contactor is a two pole model rated at 40 full load amps or less, and has a 24 volt operating coil this should work. Please compare the the detailed photos of the wire terminals, slight modification may be needed.
