Calgon Tablets Water Softener Powerball 3-in-1, 15 Tablets, Multipack of 7

Prior to buying these, I’d been buying expensive ‘washing machine’ cleaner bottles at around £4 a pop. I thought I’d give these a try, as they’re far cheaper and my washer was due a clean through. Absolutely spot on, did the job as good at a very small fraction of the cost. Completely converted.

Great idea but they leave a lot of residue in the conditioner tray in the washing machine. I had to clean the tray this morning as it was blocked. Will try the liquid next time

Good for my washing machine

I’ve been using the Calgon 4-in-1 Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets mainly to help keep on top of limescale and general build-up. They’re easy enough to use – just pop one in and run a cycle – so there’s no extra hassle.
