I placed them on small rocks and they didn't move **Q: Are these cool in the summer?** A: They're rocks. They heat up in the sun. In the shade they will be cool. Since they're pale rocks, they are cooler than dark rocks or plastics. **Q: can these be used to set potted plants on?** A: I don’t see why not. The backing is made so it is possible to lay into flooring. I set I don’t see why not. The backing is not waterproof if you are planning to use it for indoor plants but it would be easy enough to put a waterproof backing on them. It is made so you can set it as you would tiling. I have mine set as stepping stones in my garden. I really like the look! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rocks pop off *by S***T on April 29, 2021* These rocks pop off the mesh backing. There is just a dab of adhesive on the backside of each rock. So I bought a large bottle of gorilla glue, put 3-4 sheets of newspaper down on the table and flipped the rock bits and pieces thing over, pouring glue over the backside allowing the entire thing to dry. (make sure the glue is only over each rock not the entire mesh or you will be peeling newspaper off the front of the rocks). Other than this issue, it's a great looking decoration for the garden. I like that these are easily moved around.
