1045 Sedimend and Carbon Filter

These filters are an excellent replacement option for my GE system. They installed easily, fit perfectly, and immediately improved my water quality. We recently purchased a house with a well our water has clay in it and comes out brown .I’ve tried several filters on Amazon. This is the first filter that I found that actually will filter it out. I’ve I tried several of the more expensive filters. If you have Clay in your water and are having difficulties finding a filter to filter it out this one will work. It does not last a super long time because it filters all your clay particles out, but it works so I would recommend buying this filter.

Time will tell. Had house repiped from old galvanized to PEX and added a whole house filter using these filters. Seems like a good balance between a good house filtering & cost.

I am new to the business of well-system maintenance, but was horrified at the state of the pleated filter I found when I examined an existing whole house filter in a recently purchased home. After some limited research, I gave these 5 micron filters a try, and they really worked out well (no pun intended). Shower steam no longer has a weird musty smell and the water tastes great. Highly recommended.

Crazy how good they work. Before putting in a filter system my showers and toilets would turn orange within a week. These are just as good as the more expensive GE brand if not better.

Seems to be a good filter, decent price and I have no taste to my water and they have a good seal on the top and bottom.
