I think it's important to test any product before you put it in someone's home and become legally responsible for a year at minimum according to law. To compare the integrity of these products, I mocked up a 4x3 shower pan like I install on any job and used these corners with laticrete gold to adhere them. 24 hours later I use 100% clear silicone to seal the seams since there are no thinset products that are waterproofed. Followed with that, I did a week long flood test which is 3x longer than Schluters product that according to ASTM states they only need a 48hr test. If you present this to a customer showing you can save them money and to be fair provide a 5 year warranty on a shower that is practical. If a customer wants a lifetime warranty they would have to buy the Schluter kit and we can make sure to provide every detail to cover the claim if it ever cam down to it. The catch on that, people will more than likely already be moved out, or want a remodel done anyways...This is important to communicate with the customer and see what they want and what they are willing to spend, ask what it's worth to them ultimately..It is not rocket appliances, but it is important to have transparency and be fair. It mostly comes down to saving money in the end so that's the point of doing these tests, and to be fair there is not enough information out there because installers are either shady, or don't trust these products which is understandable, but really is it that hard to test to make more money and save customers money? Also, a lot of guys are just too stuck in their ways to even consider these tests and don't bother experimenting..to me that is bizarre considering we all call ourselves tradesmen and are all learning still with these products. So in summary, I rate this product 5/5 considering it performed just as well as name big name brand products and we all make more money and save more. That's the point of being in business and hiring the right guy. I have multiple tests going on with more of these off brand products that have amazing results as well..I think people need to consider dropping a few extra bucks and better their experience, learn more, and educate eachother with all products accross the board. Just because it doesn't say Schluter, doesn't mean it isn't a good product. A tile guy can still install their product completely wrong and ruin a shower..So really the gimmick there is the name brand products walk away with even more money, and you are screwed regardless lol. Little food for thought, think outside the name brand and try for yourself!

For a bathroom remodel - it is a great product.

I had to order these to finish a job. They were used in a non-critical area that does not see water except in the event of a tub overflow. So they did the job, but I loose the warranty if there is an issue. Stick with the name brand orange stuff. If it's a non-wet area and these are optional they are better than nothing.

You might call these a knock off of schluter. They were thinner but other wise seem fine. They installed as well as any other I’ve tried. I recommend them if you’re looking to save money. I was in a pinch, needed some outside corners quick to keep the job going. These were delivered quickly

Definitely not schluter. The peices tend to fray and threads start coming loose when thinset is applied and the corner pieces are worked into place. Just have to be careful.
