This is truly a great product that will also enhance any décor in any room. It is not a heavy column by no means but will accommodate a reasonable object that is not too heavy. I love the sandstone color which amazingly looks great. I placed a marble statue on this pedestal and had no problem. It can withstand heavy urns and small statues without toppling over. But, be cautioned do not over step the product's real strength it can topple over if not balanced properly. The bottom line: I am glad I ordered this item from Emsco Group. Their packaging was very secure and my order arrived safely without any damage. This seller is highly recommended. A++++++++++

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there a discrete and easy way to weight these so that they don't blow over?**
A: I imagine you can fill it with sand through the bottom (making a hole) and then seal or plug it (depending on hole size). Alternately, you can make a small hole in the top and do the same, then use the material from the hole to seal the top. (or just put something on top to hide the hole... )

**Q: Can i use these columns for my dining table base it needs to hold the table top size 3'X8' granite top. please let me know if 2 columnd are enough.**
A: They are hollow plastic.  I'm not sure they would be sturdy enough to hold a granite table top.  Definitely not 2.

**Q: Three people have tried to remove cap from my second Greek column...unable.. any suggestions?**
A: Some of these are a little difficult to get into and might require a little prying loose aroundtheedges. I use a small screwdriver at it base pushing around the hole. Or, maybe you could use a penetrating oil 'spray'.....they're all like this for the most part because they're new....good luck.

Looks quite nice. Quite light weight so it needs sand in it to keep the wind from blowing it over. Very difficult to pull the cap off the bottom to put sand in it. I wound up cutting a hole in the cap, poured in the sand and duck taped the hole back up. Overall we are quite happy with the product.
