Thick stuff that helped my old car
This is for my 12 year old Honda that I baby so I can keep driving to night shift. Transmission was slipping a bit when I’d pull out of the hospital parking lot. I added this Lucas bottle during an oil change in my driveway before a stretch of three shifts. By the third night, the shifting felt smoother and it stopped doing that little shudder at low speed. I like that I just pour in the whole 12 oz and I am done. No mess, no drama. I am just glad my commute feels less jerky now.

Helped My Transmission Run Better
Lucas Oil Transmission Fix helped my transmission and made a noticeable difference. It was easy to add, and my vehicle seems to shift smoother after using it. For the price, it’s a solid product and definitely worth trying before spending money on bigger repairs.

Works for my old campus car
When my ancient Honda started slipping between gears on the drive back to campus, I kinda panicked. My roommate told me to try this Lucas transmission fix before paying a shop. The bottle is small but I just followed the directions and poured it in after a quick Walmart run. shifting felt smoother after like two or three days of driving around town. I’m not pretending it cures everything, but for my broke college budget it’s nice. i can actually merge onto the highway now without the car freaking out, and that alone made me really glad I grabbed this.

Nice for older cars
Now that we’re a one-car family and my minivan is pushing 150k miles, I grabbed this after seeing people rave about it online. The 24-ounce size feels generous. I’ve already used it twice and still have some left on the shelf. My husband laughed at the bright white bottle, but that silly pop of color actually helps me spot it fast in our cluttered garage. I poured it in before a busy week of school runs and grocery trips, and the shifting felt smoother on the same route. For a mom constantly in and out of the car, that little difference made me really glad I tried it.

MUST BUY
I’m not sure how well I can convey that this is a wonderful product. Don’t use too much and your slipping transmission will outlast your engine

Fix for my tired old car
Finally tried this on my 14-year-old commuter after some sketchy slipping between second and third. I poured the whole bottle in after work in the parking lot, then drove home through stop-and-go traffic. Shifts felt smoother and the shudder at low speed calmed down a lot. Glad I grabbed it during my 2 a.m. browsing.

Worked for this skeptical pilot - now with update 2 years later
***Update 2 years later*** Pathfinder was sold a few months ago, the transmission would noticeably for a second or two around 65-70mph once every few weeks. Keep in mind, this is a transmission that was slipping every 30 seconds before application. No leaks. Even more miraculous, my 126k mile 1983 Volvo 240 DL automatic was shuddering/slipping between 1st and 2nd 80% of shifts. It was fine in every other gear. The transmission had been flushed and refilled with full synthetic Royal Purple Type F tranny fluid 2,000 miles before this got really bad. (yes it took type F originally) Overfilling the fluid level helped a little bit, but was not a solution. I was just about to replace it with a salvage unit, when I decided to give Lucas another try. I vacuumed up the excess and 24 ounces of fluid through the filler tube before adding with a MityVac. I let the bottle sit in near boiling water for 30 minutes and it was still a chore squeezing it out at a steady rate. Didn't notice anything for 3 days over the course of 40 miles, but on day 4 the transmission shifts as good as new! **Original review** Bottom line up front: Fixed slipping in 3 gears within 15minutes of application. 1999 Pathfinder with 13k miles on rebuilt tranny. 1000 miles ago started to notice a little slip up from 1st to 2nd. I use it for offroad fishing trips as well as towing 1500lb pop-up camper. Commonly slipped at 27mph, 37mph, and 67mph. I test the limits of helicopters for a living, so I'm very tuned to changes in rpm and speed. I drained 24 ounces of tranny fluid, which was still quite clean looking. Tip: You MUST warm up this bottle like baby formula in the hottest water possible below boiling. Take your time. Otherwise you might get cramps squeezing this ruby red goop into that filler neck. I cycled every gear in front of my house, let it warm up a bit, and drove at idle speed out to a nearby country road. In the first 15 minutes I accelerated from zero to 60 as gradually as possible over and over. Had a total of 3 slips, instead of the usual 1 every 30seconds.Drove the Pathfinder this morning to work, good as new.

Lucas Trans fix
Lucas oil transmission fix does wonders for the longevity of your transmission. Add before you start having issue to keep it going strong but can be added after some problem arise. Frees up sticking valve and helps lubricate essential transmission components to prevent failure.

This is a potential life saver
As a last resort before taking my car for potentially a full transmission repair , now i don’t think it’s the case anymore. As long as there’s no mechanical damage i said that it’s worth a try. Did a quick test drive and there is absolutely an improvement, not major as im guessing i should still drive a bit till the fluid reaches everywhere and i did only half a bottle, but i can see why it’s Sooo reccomended.

Transmission Fix: Es funktioniert!
Tolles Produkt, Daumen hoch.

Good stuff won’t fix broken parts but will fix warn/stiff seals
Great stuff so far my transmission shifts a bit smoother but third is still a bit rough I get it won’t fix broken/warn parts. I only added about 8 Ounces so far 12 is the most you, should go there’s a great video out there explaining what this stuff actually does for your old trans/seals definitely check it out before using. but it’s definitely doing its job I added it to a warm trans after a drive, drove it for a bit and the next morning it was shifting smoother. if I have any problems I’ll update this review.
