I needed something to keep my extra insulin cold (37-47 degrees) during long trips, that was not out of my price range. So far, I've just tested it at home - and it works. After plugging it in to an outlet, the temperature got down to 42 degrees and remained there. I then put in two cans of refrigerator-cold soda (about the size of my insulin pen packs). The cooler remained at that temperature. I kept the cooler plugged in for about ten hours, with no rise in temperature, so the seal on it seems to be good. It's a bit larger than I need, but I'm sure I can find other items to put in there to fill some space. I also like that it is light-weight, so carrying it into hotels will be easy.

This cooler worked pretty well. Kept everything cold, but once it is unplugged it cools off within minutes for some reason. I also got some liquid in the cooler on both trips, not sure where that came from. It does hold pretty much stuff and the cord was long enough to keep the cooler in the back seat of the car on the floor. One more issue is the cooler decided to turn itself off while I was driving. Luckly I keep looking at the light to make sure it was on. I turned if off, unplugged it, waited a couple of minutes and tried again, it thankfully started back up.

This little cooler is absolutely AWESOME! My husband is a truck driver and needed something small for the truck to take food from home with him. It has worked so amazing and we're very happy with it. It keeps everything very cold. We've had it now for several months and haven't had any problems with it. When it dies, we'll be getting another one for sure. One thing you need to do though if you're a truck driver looking to purchase this, each week, the top needs blown out with air. We were quite surprised how much dust blew out of it the first time he did that. Its something he's doing every week now. If you don't, it'll affect the performance. We noticed the fan inside wasn't blowing as well and that's when we decided it probably had a lot of dust in the outside top. Overall though a WONDERFUL cooler to have in the truck!

Have used this several times on trips. Works perfectly, keeps things cold. Small enough to keep on car seat, yet big enough for beverages, lunch items and snacks. Does not leak or sweat on seats.

Seemed to work okay when new but now only cools to 51f. Luckily, still under the one year warranty; we'll see if the replacement cooler they promised to send actually arrives sometime next week. I'll post again if it does (or doesn't); if it does show up, I'll test how well the unit cools and report here with an updated rating. Do note that the insulation contained within the inner and outer plastic shells isn't very efficient; however, when I loaded it up with a half-gallon of frozen milk and a couple of freezer bars, everything stayed cold enough until we completed our 10 hour road trip yesterday (in spite of the system never producing anything colder than 51f). Replacement unit eventually arrived: First replacement unit never arrived; apparently the address was "insufficient" (so says USPS Informed Delivery) so it was returned to Ivation. I reviewed this with the Ivation rep on the phone and another was sent which arrived this week. Plugged it in last night and it won't get colder than 48f; so it's inadequate to keep refrigerated foods safe unless I put in a couple of freezer blocks. It this case, then, why bother with a poorly insulated box? I'll just replace this with a better insulated non-powered cooler. BTW: I never tested the "heater" setting as I have no need for that function.

El funcionamiento es excelente, definitivamente una adquisición muy útil para viajes largos en auto. El tamaño también es muy práctico. Puesto que el compresor es muy pequeño, tiene un gran espacio de almacenamiento sin usar mucho espacio. En viajes de varias horas, lo que introdujimos congelado llegó congelado aún.

We used this plug in cooler on our trip from Whitehorse, Yukon to Tuktoyuktuk, NWT to Alaska. It worked very well and it was nice to have cool water and food that stayed cool as well. Worth buying.

Ça marche merveilleusement. J'ai utilise cette petite glacière (première voyage) pour transporter de la viande et des jus pendant plus de 8h et elle a fonctionnée parfaitement, la viande était gelé avant et elle est arrivée idem. Elle est assez étroite pour la transporter dans l'espace derrière la chaise du conducteur dans une voiture régulier et pas du bruit. Le voyage de retour aucun problème non plus (il faisait 35°C à l'extérieur) et les choses sont restées assez froides, donc, 100% recommandée. Avant de l'utiliser, assurez-vous de la connecter avec la prise du mûr pour 1h plus ou moins et que les produits que vous voulez transporter son déjà réfrigérés.
