Well, it's been working for me nearly perfectly
Just mentioning that the only problem I've ever had with this is that, every few hours, the screen flickers and goes out for 2-3 seconds while the thing seems to recalibrate, and then it snaps back on and is fine. I've never had any other issues. That issue is not severe enough for me to detract a star, because I am grateful there is a dock that allows me to easily connect my laptop to my external monitor and keyboard/mouse without having to deal with multiple wires and flimsy connections - the connection to this device is a rock-solid attachment that easily works after hundreds of uses and just stays solidly in place without risk of the connector getting loose - unlike the individual HDMI and USB connections, which DO have a tendency to get loose. But with this device, you plug in the HDMI (or whatever) and USB connections from the keyboard, mouse, and monitor into this unit only once, at the beginning, where they're sure to stay solidly in place, and then from there forward it's a solid one-connection step in and out with your Lenovo laptop. Five stars.

Nice dock. Video issues at times, but better than an old school docking port.
We have over 100 of these docks installed, and agree with others about the flickering monitors. We have had the best luck with higher-end DisplayPort cables. Spend the extra $20 and get one from a cable manufacturer, rather than the cheapie sent with your monitor. You could also go single DisplayPort + single VGA if so inclined. The DVI to VGA adapter in the box is perfect for that. For large or mixed deployments, make sure you keep the 90W adapters with them, or you'll receive power error messages. Keep a 65W with the laptop and 90W at your "home base." All in all, a worthwhile investment. Would probably give the 4th gen OneLink+ dock 5 stars, as these issues have all but disappeared.

Great Design - Poor Product Quality
As a on/off switch and additional USB ports this dock works great. However, as a one plugin docking station for your notebook it doesn't work well at all. The Good One power connection allows you to turn on and off the notebook without having to open the lid on the notebook. Also, there are additional USB 3 ports if you need additional ports. The Bad The DVI and Display Port (that's right, Display Port NOT HDMI) cause the monitor video to loose sync a-periodically when you are streaming video from pretty much any video source - YouTube, Netflix, Xfinity, Leawo, etc. In researching this issue on Lenovo's support site there is a know video sync issue with no plans to fix the problem. The fact that this dock has a Display Port connection should tell you this is old technology. The Ethernet port will continuously loose sync with the switch while the other 4 PC's going into the switch have no problem. The Ethernet port on the notebook works just fine, not the Ethernet port on the Docking station. Other Thoughts I purchased this specific item after an online chat with a Lenovo representative who indicated that this was the correct docking station for the Lenovo notebook I have and that it would work. I guess it does allow me to turn the notebook on without opening the lid. But the video and Ethernet were deal breakers. There is a work-a-round for this - connect the HDMI from the monitor to the notebook, connect the notebook Ethernet to the switch. Now you have an expensive on/off switch with little other functionality. So, if I am going to make all those other connections just to have the on/off switch work with the lid down, why bother. Thank goodness for Amazon's great return policy, otherwise I would be stuck fighting with some other vendor trying to resolve these issues.

Works great with ThinkPad S1 Yoga in Windows and Linux
Everything works great with ThinkPad S1 Yoga. Fine in WIn8 and Win10, and it works out of the box in Linux too (Ubuntu 15.04). It's actually more seamless in Linux, as Windows pops up a bunch of notifications when it's plugged in. Have only tried 2 simultaneous displays so far (built-in and DP - the built-in and onboard mini-HDMI out also work fine simultaneously, and at 1080p + 4K 30Hz). Only thing I could wish for is if it could do 4K over the DisplayPort (doesn't work at 24 or 30Hz - I tried with HDMI adapter, could only get 1080p). Probably a bandwidth limitation of the OneLink interface, and since it lists a max of 1600p, I can't really complain. The cable could stand to be a bit longer for better desktop placement flexibility, and it'd be nice to have a rear audio output as well as front.

Worked right out of the box with my ThinkPad Yoga!
Because of this dock I will most likely buy a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop whenever it is time to purchase another laptop (convertible tablet with digitizer of course). I have my ThinkPad Yoga S1 (which I have already kept up to date including the latest bios/firmware updates), hooked up to two external monitors, a mechanical keyboard, external speakers, Ethernet, power, and charging my phone! I have not experience any slow downs or glitches in the screens. Love the ease of use and all the extra USB ports as well as USB 3.0 ports. I was cautious before buying it due to the 3 star review when I purchased it, but I believe the issues these others have experienced are due to not having the latest BIOS update that came out at the end of 2014.

This unit gave me the best of both worlds. I can hook up all of my devices such as printers, scanners, drawing tablets and a 40" Sony TV monitor and still have the ability to take the laptop out in the field and have all of my programs and files available. I do photo and video editing and the response is excellent. The DisplayPort allows me to take full advantage of the monitor's resolution. The USB 3 ports allows me to hook up USB 3 external drives for remarkable speed for processing and backup. The dock's small profile easily fits on the desk. I had thought to get both a desktop and laptop, but this is the best solution. I highly recommend it.

Arrived in good time as advertised. Works perfectly with Lenovo ThinkPad E560 20EV laptop. Had to buy an inexpensive DVI to display cable to connect an additional monitor. It was a challenge to figure out which docking station would work with my laptop.
