Will this blade work?** A: It will cut your shaft but you may burn threw one or two disks to do it. a chop saw with a 12" to 14 " blade would be better if you are cutting a lot of hard shafts. **Q: Can i use these on my oerter cable drill? if so what sized arbor do i need?** A: The disc itself is 7/8" arbor. I think you meant to write 'Porter Cable', either way I don't think a drill has enough rpm's and you won't have the protection of a grinder shield.
