Why is the receiver stem welded crooked? When mounted on hitch, winch is crooked 5 degrees?! Faulty?

I am not aware of my cradle being offset by 5 degrees. Mine appears to be straight on when in the receiver. I would contact X-Bull direct for an answer on that.

What's the distance from the back of the cradle to hitch pin hole? Thanks.

5 5/16 inches to the center of the hitch pin hole. The hitch pin hole is 5/8 inch.

Will new model apex badlands 12,000 winch w/synthetic rope fit this mount ?

Not familiar with the Apex Badlands 12000 lbs winch, all I can say is the Badlands 12000 lbs winch that I have fit perfectly into the X-BULL Universal Winch Cradle's set of pre-drilled holes with no modification to the Cradle.

What kind of electrical connections required?

that's dependent on the winch. this is just the cradle for the winch. no electrical components needed to bolt to this.
