Conversation Casanova: How to Effortlessly Start Conversations and Flirt Like a Pro (How to Talk to Women)

It's a book for beginners. The branding is off trying to target everybody. For that, I wasted my time (thought some nuggets of good info for advanced conversationalists). This is a how-to talk to women book. It’s beginner level. In the pickup community, this book is PG. It’s safe. The author took knowledge from that community, which he probably learned over years through various sources and personal experience, and wrote this book leaving out all the lingo. You’re not going to learn the more effective strategies nor go deeper into the human psyche. Again, it’s for beginners. About 1/3 through the book I started skimming due to surface-level information. A nice book for absolute beginners. There were some nuggets of truth. The best part of the book: Always sit next to her on a date. A solid reminder to all. One item of note that I found useful in my specific case is about tests that women deliver in the form of verbal jabs. Often I get that I must be dating a lot, have a lot of female friends. It’s annoying and untrue and I usually disqualify the girl who says this generic line. However, I could now do as the author recommends and agree and exaggerate: Yup, that’s me, lots of women. Anyways, what do you love about players so much? This isn’t a negative review of Conversation Casanova. It just wasn’t for me as I’m not a beginner. If you’ve read similar books, books on psychology, etc. then you should not buy this book. If you’re just getting started and want something vanilla, this is your book. There was a good reminder for me and all guys who hesitate when going to approach a girl. We hesitate because it’s seen as the more risky option compared to not doing anything. You need to shift your perspective so that it’s actually more risky not to approach her. I thought it was funny how Perrotta teaches the reader how to sexy smile: show very little teeth (or just keep your mouth shut)and smile more with one side of your mouth. I got a nice piece of simple wisdom towards the end of the book: It’s better to hold a little back and be intriguing. Think about your audience. Are you talking to your girlfriend’s mom or best friend’s grandma? Then talk more, don’t try to be cool and secretive. But if you’re on a date, leaving a bit more up to the imagination can be in your favor.

The section on overcoming the Need for Validation is very good as it discusses the problems in having ‘needy’ behavior. I also like the section n How to Make a Great First Impression. However, part 2: Initiate the Conversation is the part that I think the warning refers to. The section advocate approaching women at random in public at random in areas like grocery stores or on the street. It’s one thing to approach women at a bar or a club where people go to meet other people, but in public places it could be embarrassing. Not a good idea. So overall, the book is not a bad read, but as the warning suggests don’t take it too seriously…

I would call myself a beginner in this field, but this is not the first book of this kind that I read. However, I'm not a guy that just reads. I was dating a beautiful woman until recently. However, it takes me a lot of time between one woman and another (like years), and I'm socially awkward. I can save myself from total loneliness because I dance pretty well, and that's where I get attention from women (and they hit on me sometimes), but I'd also like to get this under control in order to avoid living in scarcity. The core skill I need now is conversation, because I can already make a certain impression by dancing. This is a really good book, because it gives you precise and actionable information. Even if the author tries to hook you up for some kind of follow-up (a set of free videos in this case), the truth is that the book is already useful as-is, and you can just write down the lessons and tips and go practice immediately. It's not one of those books where the useful stuff is elsewhere behind a paywall. This is legit, and I think everything you need is here. In the past week I've already been practicing the attitude-oriented tips and I noticed the difference. I've engaged in a lot more conversations without hesitation (not only with women), being much more spontaneous. Of course, I'm not talking about greatness, but an improvement. I'm satisfied and excited about the future. Today I read the rest of the book and I feel like pretty much everything I wanted to be covered in such a book is covered, and now I have all I need to get started, and to definitely take off my conversation, and more importantly, connection skills. And not only with women, as many of these things apply to conversations with men. The difference, as I see it, only concerns sexual talk (unless you're interested in men). The rest is the same, and that's great because you can practice all the time, specially storytelling (even with groups). This is great value for a book developing a core skill. I totally recommend it.

"Conversation Casanova" by Dave Perrotta is an incredibly informative and captivating read. When I originally downloaded this book, I only meant to skim through it real fast (to get a quick "sneak peek," if you will) with the intent to read it in its entirety later, but I was so captivated by the Introduction that I actually ended up reading the first 20 pages! The author's conversational style (in a book about conversation!) really pulled me in and made for a great reading experience. In addition to being well-written, this book is also incredibly practical and useful to a wide range of men---regardless of your race, your income, or your level of physical attractiveness. In fact, my favorite quote from this book is the following: "...You don't need to be rich, great looking, or have a great job to meet and attract women... But you DO need the right mindset... You can LEARN how to use conversation to get women irresistibly attracted to you and thinking about going home with you... minutes after first meeting you." And that mindset is exactly what you will learn to cultivate while reading this book. Whether you're broke, living with your parents, or self-identify as "shy," this book will give you the foundation to master social dynamics and become the kind of man who attracts any woman he wants!

When you see a book with as high a rating as this, something's either really fishy, or the book is just that amazing. Makes you question the legitimacy. Don't get me wrong it's a solid read, but going into it I was expecting something incredible. There's good advice in here packed in a relatively short read, but nothing truly groundbreaking. I.e.- strong eye contact, speak slowly, get them talking about themselves by using the right questions. A bit of fluff and more like an e-book than a full on book. Good stuff to keep in mind and I'm glad I read it because it gives me the confidence to know I'm trying to be astute in my interactions with woman, learning the right approach, and just that small confidence boost should help going forward.

I came across this book on a whim and thought it might be filled with just feel good advice and perhaps a few lame pickup lines that don't work like so many other books out there. I was wrong. This is the kick in the ass that will empower you to take action. From the opening pages it is filled with no-nonsense real world advice. It covers everything from the proper mindsets, what to say, HOW to say it, WHEN to say it all the way to having deep connections and making her fall in love with you on the first date. The BEST part of the book in my opinion is the "Action Tips" throughout the book. These are exercises you can do while reading that fully ingrain the advice deep within your head and make you get better on the spot. These range from written exercises to missions to do when you are out talking to girls. It's quick easy read too with very little fluff. Definitely a book you will want to keep coming back to.

I bought this book looking for an in depth read about conversation and how it relates to romancing women. What I found was a skim over what other pick up artist already teach, with some added insight. Although Dave does not come out right and say he is a pick up artist, I can tell from his terminology and stories that that's exactly what he is. And that's not to say it's a bad thing! As the sub culture itself has taken a turn into self development and pushes guys to cultivate their social skills for the soul purpose of sleeping with a high number of women at a faster rate. So the techniques do have merit! And the truth is for what these other pick up gurus charge hundred and even thousands of dollars for, Dave gives you for only $11! Or less if you eventually buy a used book. But overall this is a very good book which I will be reading again! The only reason I could not give this a full 5 stars is because it does not go into as much depth as someone would need to become a full "Casanova". But it's a start.

When it comes to dating advice, there's no one that explains it more directly and effectively than Dave Perrotta. I remember when I started reading his blog, I just graduated college and felt absolutely helpless with dating now that I was out in the "real world". However, Dave's content introduced me to a new way to look at life and attracting beautiful women. As soon as I heard this book was released, I downloaded it immediately and dove right in. Needless to say, I was not disappointed with the action-packed, realistic tips I could apply to my life right away. After reading this book, I feel more approachable and prepared whether I'm out at the bars, or walking around my neighborhood during the day. I feel more confident. And most importantly, I'm meeting and dating some incredible women in my life simply by starting authentic conversations with them. Meeting the woman of your dreams starts with a conversation, and Conversation Casanova well help you bring out the best version of yourself to speak confidently and smooth.
