I wanted to love this so badly! Its just a touch too stiff for my needs. I suffer chronic intractable migraine. I was advised to try the infrared heat for neck pain - and the crystals in this pad are good for migraine. So it felt like a perfect fit! Except it wasnt. Not for me. The heat was lovely. It is a slow graduation but once the temp was achieved it was comfortable and even. It has a memory to your last setting so as soon as you turn it on, it goes to that setting. For me, it was not malleable enough to be comfortable. But I have learned most infrared pads aren't. I highly recommend this to anyone interested.

let me first say that I absolutely love this infrared, amethyst, heating pad, and that I use it every night. The combination of infrared with the healing properties of amethyst increases circulation, relaxes muscles, and provides an extremely soothing and deeply penetrating source of heat. If you’re not familiar with infrared heating pads, they operate completely differently than a traditional heating pad in that they penetrate deep into the tissues and they’re not just heating up the surface of the skin. This is why they provide such a deep level of healing. It is also worth noting that I first purchased this heating pad probably 18 months ago and it suddenly stopped working. I contacted customer service through email and received a very quick response and after trying one thing that was recommended which failed to correct the problem I was immediately shipped a brand new heating pad to replace the one that developed an electrical problem. This is an amazing product, and I love the size of it because it can be used on various parts of the body including the back, hip/thigh/glutes, shoulder/neck etc. Extra bonus: if you struggle to fall asleep use this nightly. it’s deep relaxation effect will ease you into a deep sleep. I highly recommend this product.

This heating pad is large and HEAVY. I have it on my office chair and attached cabling through underside of desk. Two important things to know. First is that the heating is slow and gradual unlike most heating pads which are less than 1 minute to reach full heat. This pad takes upwards of 5 minutes Second, the pad is substantial and heavy and hard to move around with thick cabling. If you have ever moved a weighted blanket around, it feels like that. Value for the money is questionable, I do like it but wouldn't pay this much for a heating pad again. 4 stars for quality material and getting the job done well.

Use this as an adjunct to other modalities to help muscles relax from exercise.Unsure about the healing properties. I am about 5 feet tall and it is long and wide enough to cover entire body.It can get very hot depending on what temperature you set it to.Hope the quality lasts for awhile considering the price.

I don't recommend this mat. I would say the price is expensive too much. I would return if I knew about the basic temperature setting starts from 103 degree which is too hot. I got one for my chair. This mat is too heavy and hard to sit on and the temperature is too hot, you cannot make it lower than 103 degree, it makes me keep turning on and off whenever I feel too hot.

Ever since this was delivered, I’ve been putting this thing to work!!! The heat is so relaxing - and easily adjustable! When I’m feeling tense or sore, spending time on the mat does the trick. It’s been a pre-bed routine for me. The amethyst crystals may really be influencing the positive vibes too. If you’re on the fence about this mat I highly recommend pulling the trigger!
