Will this block sound from room to room?

This won’t block anything as it does not stick to metal vents AT ALL!

Quantity? If I order this item do I get one cover, or more than one cover?

As it says right on the package in the picture, there are three per package. I have a package right in front of me, opened it, and made sure.

I am trying to block one section of an old wall heater. Does this work well with heat?
