Bears the Gold Monster in all tests
I am a gold prospector and have several “top” detectors. This is a VLF detector made for gold detection. It is not the best detector you can get. A OI machine is far better. That said there are many times when a VLF detector is the right tool. In those cases this is the best one I have ever swung. If you don’t want to spend thousands on a detector buy this one. Put up against my Gold Bug this absolutely is better in all ways. It’s just much new technology. Up against the Gold Monster(at twice the price) this unit is much more stable and reliable in its indicators. If your questions are. How deep can it detect or can it find ?????, you need to do some learning before you spend money. Detecting is a half science 1/4 skill and 1/4 luck. Learn first then buy this!!!!

I need to how deep it can detect
to me it is good, I used it a few times and so far I will say is good

Not as accurate as its competitors
I was hoping this product would be similar to what my husband got. It won't detect any metal unless it's less than 1/2 inch away. We tested it using different metals at different depths in our yard. We tried the different heads, and different settings, and still not effective in detecting metals at deeper depths. It didn't pick up smaller sizes like BB pellets and fragments of different test metals.
