Absolutely love this! Unfortunately where I live bigs are horrendous! So sitting on our deck anytime of the day is almost impossible. Until I found this little beauty! It takes care of the bigs and almost sends a message for their friends to not come around! Super easy to use, plug and go! Has a light if you'd like it for extra but I don't use it. You can hang it or set it on table of ledge. Need to clean it out, twist off the bottom big catcher cup and voila! All done! Brush is included if you need to brush off the electrodes. Super easy, very reasonable and I absolutely love it! I would highly recommend!

This is a good bug zapper. Just plug it in and it is ready to go. Works well and.I thought the price was very good.

Honestly, this bug zapper is a bit of a mixed bag, which seems to be the story for most of these types of units. When it works, it works great. You hang it up (be ready with an extension cord, because the included one is usually pretty short), plug it in, and you'll definitely hear the satisfying "zap!" sound as moths and flies get taken out. I've found it makes a huge difference on my patio, especially with smaller, flying gnats and no-see-ums in the evening, making it much more bearable to sit outside. It’s also completely chemical-free, which is a major plus. The big catch is that it's not a silver bullet for everything. It's generally not very effective against mosquitoes, which are attracted more by CO2 than the UV light, so you'll still need repellent for those. Also, cleaning the thing is a pain—dead bug parts get stuck in the grid, and the bottom tray can be finicky to empty cleanly. The bulb will eventually burn out, and finding the specific replacements can be tricky.

Item worked amazingly. It would kill bugs all night long. Unfortunately it didn't last as long as I expected. It stopped work last week. The light bulb went out and then started smoking. I had to disconnect because it looked like it was going to catch on fire. Other than that the zapper works as advertised

Absolutely love this thing. Lighting id great, versatility great, Doesn't have a battery life as it's a plug in. Easy to use, very very effective. I went to empty it because we had some flies and mosquitos that started hanging around. This thing obliterated them. I got maybe a few wing pieces here and there. If this takes a crap in the futurw, I will definitely be buying another one of these. Best bug zapper I have purchased. Some must here it because they will get close and then take off and not come back, so definitely very effective.

So Far …So Good I’ve tried several of these types of “zappers”. I’ve tried the ones to sit, hang and the “tennis racket” kind. This one seems to work the best. Sometimes when it gets a fly, you hear a popping and then a sizzle sound (from it getting stuck). So I unplug it and give it a tiny shake and then it’s fine. I wouldn’t leave it plugged in if you’re not home but I do think this works very well for our Florida Flies

I am writing this review because I have mixed feelings about this trap, though ultimately, I am coming back for a second one. The Performance: In terms of effectiveness, this device is a 5-star product. It did an incredible job clearing out mosquitoes and gnats in my kitchen (placed away from food on top of the fridge). It is easily one of the most effective solutions we’ve used, which is why I am choosing to repurchase it despite my frustrations with its durability. The Lifespan: My first unit lasted exactly 1 year, 7 months, and 5 days (from June 5, 2024, to January 10, 2026) before it stopped working. In my opinion, for an indoor electronic device, this is a relatively short life span. I was hoping to get at least 2 or 3 solid years out of it before needing a replacement. The Value: I am rating this 3 stars due to its shorter lifespan. However, even with a sub-two-year lifespan, the "dollar-for-dollar" value is hard to beat. Because it works so well while it’s running, I’ve found it’s worth the "subscription" of buying a new one every 19 months or so. Bottom Line: If you want something that works wonders on pests immediately, buy this. Just go into the purchase knowing you may need to replace the unit in less than 2 years. For the price, the effectiveness makes it worth the trade-off. **Disclaimer: This was NOT used Off/On; it was consistently ON 24/7/365, which may have contributed to its short life.

Works very well for all kinds of small flying insects. It seems no matter how small, they get zapped! Some of what this thing has zapped are so small that I wasn't even aware these small critters were in my house. Also works on flies! Big plus! This would be a 5 star item except for two things... it doesn't have an on/off switch, and the cord is rather short. Other than that, it works awesomely, thus the 4 star rating.

THis thing is great. It has murder so many bug. I didn't know I had that many ! Sometimes a fly will get into the cage area... or down to where all teh dead bodies are held but remains alive because it was smart enough to not touch the electric thingy.. but too dumb to escape. must be a horrible way to spend hours or days... around your dead and mutilated bodies of your brothers, sisters, grandkids etc... Word of advice: don't forget to take off the bottom to clean out the dead bodies outside just in case there are some live ones trapped down there. Update Sep 26: the bulb died. Understandable as I never turned it off. There are replacements so I will be ordering one. Still a win.

This is a nice size and fits well in most places good that it can be used indoors and out. It works well, although is rather load when it goes off which can make you jump a little as not expecting it. Would recommend.
