OtterBox iPhone 13 Pro Max & iPhone 12 Pro Max Symmetry Series Case - Clear, Ultra-Sleek, Wireless Charging Compatible, Raised Edges Protect Camera & Screen

I’m writing this review a year later after using the case. I bought back in March 2023 for my iPhone 13pro max and have only now today, April 2024 started to look for a new phone case. For me, a phone case to last a whole year is impressive. Ive dropped my phone so many times , stuffed money, pictures and cards on the back, sat on my phone, stepped on my phone, tossed it on the floor and this case held through. It did its job at protecting my phone. Just now did it start breaking apart a year later. Yes, the edges of the plastic will turn yellow over time because that is to be expected if you’re putting your phone in and out of your pockets or purses, but the actual hard plastic itself doesn’t turn yellow, so you still have a clear case! This case is very worth your money if you’re clumsy like me. Without this phone case, (paired with a glass screen protector) my phone would 100% be in shambles. I’ve dropped my phone so hard to the point it bumps my SIM card out of place leaving me with no internet, but my phone itself, looking brand new when I look at it. Clear case is worth it for a sleek design and for the sake of your phone. Especially with the new iPhone models.

This is a great case but needs addons to be compatible with magsafe charging devices and mounts. I had been having bad experiences with cheaper unknown brand cases I had been ordering due to Otterbox not having a magsafe case in this style for the iPhone 13 Pro Max (yeah, I don’t change phones until they actually stop working, my last one was a 6S Plus), or at least one I could find. The point of failure for those unknown brand cheap cases was always the separation of the magsafe magnets on the back of the cover, leaving a circular hole on the case. I found this one and saw it was “wireless charging” compatible, and I mistook that for being able to use it on my nightstand/car mount magnetic chargers, but was wrong. I thought of returning but was conflicted as this is truly a nice sleek case, and did not want to go back to cheaper options. I then found a magsafe adhesive magnetic ring (0.2mm for those wondering) and decided to try that as a last resort. Well, it works fantastic; the fact that this case is not completely smooth but has some textures allowed the adhesive backing of the ring to grip securely, and now I have wireless charging plus a strong magnetic hold, while keeping this awesome case. If you were on the verge on ordering this one due to not being compatible with magsafe, I’d say get you one of the same rings in Amazon for a low price and complete your setup.

I purchased this case YEARS ago and am just now replacing it. Over the course of a few years I’ve dropped my phone on its face and no cracks. Works with wireless charging and was very easy to install.

Looked everywhere for a simple case from a reputable manufacturer. Maybe I'm a sucker for marketing but I'm a bit wary of these off-brand case makers when I'm wanting protection for a super expensive handheld computer that i'm going to be carrying with me almost everywhere every day. I finally settled on this one. It's pretty basic, no frills, lightweight. It has a fairly slim design and seems to provide adequate protection. I've had a couple minor drops and the phone survived. But I wish it was slightly more heavy duty. Not one of those giant up-armored things that looks like it should be mounted in an Abrams tank. But a little more heft would give me just a little more peace of mind. Oh, and this case is supposed to be MagSafe compatible. It works but you have to set it on the charger just right. I suspect it wouldn't be that much better if I didn't have the case on at all. I feel like it's an Apple fail on the wireless charging design. Maybe it's just me and how I prefer to operate. I still use the lightning port. Overall, a pretty good iPhone case.

Bought this to help with my phone not breaking. It always falls and the dang back and screen crack. This will save you time and money too.its got a sleek black design and it feels very smooth and thin. The buttons are pretty loose and stay on well. It’s also scratch proof and I haven’t gotten any scarthes from it yet

Product is as stated. Fit nicely to phone.

The cover fits fairly easily. However, the sides appear to be not tight fitting and there are “warped” edges (hence minor gaps). As for magsafe charging, it’s a hit and miss (so if you’re using such chargers, do make sure you get one with the “charging ring” integrated in it).

Had for about a year so far and still looks and works great! The rubber is turning brownish though. Hard to tell but I see it.
