This is a fantastic pen. It is still made in France which I can appreciate. A Parker Jotter was the first refillable ballpoint pen that I ever got my hands on as a kid. I remember how much I loved it then, and I still love it now. This is a fantastic pen for those seeking a refillable pen that writes smoothly, almost effortlessly and is a very well known for its durability and craftsmanship. The metal fore grip is brushed so it gives a good tactile response and the "click" of the that is well known to the Jotter. I highly recommend this pen. It's a fantastic gift for those who are just graduating, or find themselves taking notes or writing extensively. There are better pens out there, but at this price point there is no other ballpoint.

Still confused whether it is fake or not?
Note: I am not a Parker expert (so will appreciate if somebody will explain) Item: Parker Jotter Gel Pen, Premium Oxford Gray Pinstripe, Medium Point Black Ink (0.7mm), Gift Box (2020645) Size: Gel Point Review: Packaging was well; The gift box is also very nice, even if it is just a plastic box; The pen itself writes amazing, loved it from the first ink. The weight of the pen is not heavy, but still really nice when writing; The only thing that I did not like is that "Parker France" logo is only at the top of the pen. I was confused that in some pictures the logo is at the lower bottom of the upper part, while in some the logo is at the top of the upper part. Still confused whether it is fake or not?

A Jotter with a little more style
I’ve used a Jotter for over two decades. The Jotter is an American classic before the disposable pen saturated the landfills. The stainless steel Jotter feels good in the hand. Has the same satisfying click mechanism. The carlisle brown pinstripe adds a touch of style to my writing. The logo and Parker name has been moved to the collar of the pen clip. This pen is made in France. There is a India company called Luxor who has a license to manufacture Parker pens for the India/Nepal market only. Luxor pens and ink are made in India or China and 3rd party sellers have been selling them on Amazon. The Luxor ink is not that good. Be wary, if it’s really cheap it might be a Luxor. For a ballpoint this pen is smooth and reliable. Something most don’t realize but traditional ballpoint ink has a shelf life of 2 years before it becomes stale, causing fatigue as the ink dries and harder to drag across a page. For this reason I buy my refills locally.

Parker vs. Cross vs Sarasa
Very nice looking pen. The gold against the black looks fantastic. Decent quality. It is definitely not heavy in the hand. The Jotter's gel cartridge and writing quality is not as good as the OTC Sarasa gel pens, but if you need a pretty pen, the Sarasas don't fit the bill. This pen replaced my Cross pens. The Crosses were heavier in the hand, but did not write as well as these. Of course, the Parkers are MUCH cheaper than the Crosses. I will definitely consider this pen again, over Cross, in the future.

But was annoyed when I found out this had come with a ...
Just got mine (matte black with gold). Box was cheap plastic broken by the time it got delivered. But the pen! Wow. I have other standard black, red, blue ball pt pens. Compare this to those; this is much heavier and exudes quality all over. On the arrow clip, it says PARKER France. I mean other things were made in India or something. As Quink Fountain pen Inks are made in France, I figure this is a real deal. But was annoyed when I found out this had come with a BLUE ball point ink (M). I mean who would thought this black and gold will write blue? All of other cheap ones also came with blue inks. Parker has probably blue quink left overs. Other than that mis-match, this bpoint is AWESOME. Better looking than the other more expensive brands. Hope they do not stop making these luxury lines. Update: just purchased two of these premium jotters. Now total 3! Telling you this is legit. Better than Montxxxxx pens that I own.

Jotter Master R4ce
I've always loved the Jotter, especially when I first became familiar with it when it would accompany my Parker fountain pens. It's not super ergonomic, but it's so sleek and perfectly designed that is great to hold on to, even tough it's fairly slippery Love this new "Bond Street" look. The matte gold and black scheme is every so slightly flashy without being even the slightest bit gaudy Since it runs regular Parker Quink or gel refills, this pen writes excellently, though I wish they'd offer it with a find point out of the box. Oh well, I can surely fix that. All Parker Jotter pens are great. This one was worth the extra money just because of how pretty it is. Though I'm sure it writes the same as one you'd find on clearance at Walgreens.

It's a Parker Jotter. They are among the best pens ever.
Amazing. If you've never treated yourself to a Parker Jotter, then fix that now. I would hand this to people at work, who would get distracted from what they were writing because of how nice both the click and the writing was. it's a steel-body pen that looks as professional as can be and is a treat to write with.

My favorite pen
I love this pen. It looks fantastic with the gold and black, and in contrast to the other plastic colorful Jotters, has a nice bit of heft to it with the metal. I went with black Fine point refills instead of what it came standard with and I couldn't be happier. Writes impeccably and makes me a bit annoyed I've even ever used other pens.

I lost my jotter (purchased from Amazon US) on an overseas trip recently, and ordered a replacement with Amazon Australia. When I unboxed it, I noticed that it's feather-light compared to my old jotter. I'm not convinced that it's genuine. I've ordered another replacement from Amazon US, will compare when it arrives.

The Parker Jotter Premium West End pen arrived presented in Parker's traditional elegant gift box. As I had bought this pen as a present for someone special, I was very pleased with its appearance. The golden finish lacquer body perfectly complemented the golden finish cap and trim. This ballpoint pen is well crafted and is premium indeed. The pen has the right amount of weight to it, this allows it to be very comfortable to grip. The writing experience is smooth and clean, as expected from a quality pen. The Parker Jotter Premium West End Ball point Pen is an exquisite pen that I would be proud to give as a gift. I am also confident to recommend it.
