I've had no issues threading it through to clean. **Q: Willl these work with nuear hearing aids? In canal receiver** A: I suspect they would. My ear molds are for bte aids but the vent hole is tiny and the work wonders! At this price, I’d say give them a try. **Q: Are these like small pipe cleaners? How long are they?** A: I agree that they are somewhat like dental floss, maybe 18" long, somewhat still at each end then a larger foam center that does the cleaning. They can be difficult to thread through your hearing aid tube but I found a was that was pretty easy and they do a great job cleaning the inside of the tube.
