Spigen Liquid Air Designed for iPhone 13 Case (2021) - Navy Blue

First Impression: I’ve always trusted Spigen for its balance between protection and style, so I picked up the Liquid Air for my new iPhone 15. Right out of the box, it feels premium — matte, grippy, and surprisingly lightweight. The Abyss Green color is subtle yet elegant, a deep tone that looks great under different lighting. The case snaps on easily and fits the phone perfectly, with precise cutouts and no looseness around the buttons or camera. Real Experience: After a few weeks of daily use, I can say this case strikes an excellent balance between slim design and real protection. The textured back gives a secure hold (even with sweaty hands), and the anti-slip finish really works. It’s already survived two accidental drops from desk height — no damage, not even a scuff on the corners. The buttons are tactile and responsive, and the raised edges protect both the screen and camera lenses. What I appreciate most is that it doesn’t add bulk; it slides easily into pockets while still feeling solid and reliable. Helpful Conclusion: If you want a sleek, minimalist case that actually protects your iPhone, the Liquid Air is a perfect choice. Ideal for people who prefer clean design and functional durability without flashy details. I’d definitely buy it again, especially in this refined green tone.

I really like this case! So much so that I ordered another one just to have on hand (original in Matte Black, new one in Abyss Green) - It is NOT compatible with magsafe accessories, which for me is a PLUS! I don't want extra magnets on the back of my phone and I have no interest in magsafe accessories. If you search for "iPhone 16" cases you will find that the majority have the extra magnets in the case, so if you don't want that there aren't a ton of options. - HOWEVER, it IS compatible with magsafe chargers! I use an Apple magsafe charger and it snaps into place and charges perfectly. - This is a slim no-frills case, but does feel protective. It has a nice lip for the front glass as well as a lip over the camera lenses. - I find the feel of the case to be sufficiently grippy and to me it is very pleasing from a tactile perspective. - The buttons have plastic covers over the actual buttons, but there is a bit of an opening on the sides of each one. I'm not sure of the reason for this, but the buttons work very well and don't require extra force. - I find that the cutout for the camera control works very well. Keep in mind that the new camera control is a bit fiddly under the best of situations. I mainly use it to open the camera and take photos or videos quickly. I am also able to access options like zoom and such, but I don't rely on the button as the main way to change options. Some cases feature a special button that covers the actual touch button, but I'm skeptical of that approach. Note that one advantage of the cutout on this case is it is very easy to feel for the button and activate it for a quick photo / video. - A number of review have mentioned that the lighter-colored cases stain easily. I have the dark versions, so this is not an issue, but I can easily imagine the light colors attracting stains that can't be easily removed. - In summation, I think this case looks good, feels good, has nice buttons and cutouts and provides good protection.

This seems to be an excellent case, with a great look and streamlined form factor. I was mainly interested in the texture for grippy-ness, and it's perfect that way. Not sticky or dust gathering like silicone, but still grippy enough to not slip in your fingers. My previous case was a replacement for the one I had before, but apparently my fingers are too dry now or something and the case was simply too darn slippery -- but nicely designed and elegantly simple otherwise. Also, it was better for mag-safe charging -- the Spigen is a slight bit thicker in order to imprint its texture, and therefore does not handle the mag-safe charger clinging very well. It does hold if in the exactly right spot, but charges less efficiently, hence my knocking one star off of what is otherwise a very nice and protective case. I wish it had mag-safe material embedded to extend the magnetic charger adhesion. UPDATE: Inspired by the textural pattern here I "enhanced" my other case (Torras Slim Fit) for grabbiness with scuffing and cross-hatched scoring which works great! See that review for photo.

The case fits the phone perfectly and only took a few seconds to install. The quality seems very high for such a reasonably priced phone case. The case doesn't slip out of my pocket even though the feel of the phone is smooth - there is just enough texture to keep it in place.

I've had other Spigen cases and, when I got this phone, I made the mistake of getting a lesser known brand because it was a few dollars less. That other case often interfered with wireless charging because it had a built-in magnet ring, and eventually the corner cracked not from dropping it but from just taking the phone out of the case now and so it would properly wireless charge. This Spigen case is lighter, feels better in the hand, the buttons work better, it doesn't finger print with the textured back, and there's no magnet ring to mess up the charging.

Great slim case! The case looks great and provides the protection I need. The engraved detail on the back of the case offers some grip while holding the case, less slippery. Happy with the product!

Case fits the phone well, has a grippy texture, and is very slim. For scratch protection and a bit of extra durability it's very good value. Physics are physics, so don't expect it to protect the phone from a fall of any great height.

O produto é de ótima qualidade. Entretanto deixo destacado que não é daquelas capinhas que “grudam” na mão. É um plástico mais seco e escorregadio.

Nein, dies ist keine gekaufte Rezension. Hat Spigen auch nicht nötig, im Vergleich zu der NoName-Konkurrenz. Ich nutze ihre Produkte schon seit dem iPhone 5S und war bisher immer zufrieden. Für unter 15€ gibt es eine dezente und schlanke, aber dennoch ausreichend robuste Hülle. Die Knöpfe bleiben schön 'clicky' und das iPhone liegt viel besser in der Hand. Außerdem sind Display und Kamera rundrum geschützt. Die Hülle beim 7er (Foto) hält auch noch super, wurde etwas speckig/matt, aber hey... nach 3 Jahren Nutzung kein Grund zur Kritik! Highlight beim Liquid Air ist aber die strukturierte Oberfläche. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, wie gut sich das anfühlt und wie gerne man das Gerät in die Hand nimmt. Mit Hülle wiegt das 12 Mini etwa 155g, also immer noch weniger als das (ohnehin schon leichte) normale 12 ohne Hülle. Zu guter Letzt sieht es ganz schick aus. Weniger elegant als ganz nackt, aber dafür robuster und souveräner. Daher volle 5 Sterne. Sollte mir etwas Negatives auffallen, werde ich Euch ein Update geben :)
