Excellent lens
Works very well for what I needed to do - focus on an object relatively close (30 cm) and fill the field of view. Used with a C-mount Daheng camera, rather than the Raspberry Pi HQ camera.

Not bad, not bad at all but needs a lot of light.
Fits cameras used by trinocular microscopes. All adjustments are smooth. Need its light source, otherwise too dark

Good lens with caveat.
I like the lens but it appears to have a non-standard filter thread, 37.5 mm. I need a polarizing filter and a normal 37 mm filter does not fit and I have not been able to find any that do.

Good quality lens for the price
I like this lens, it operates smoothly and has all the features I was looking for. I have not tested it yet but I don't expect any surprises. In general the meaning of "IR" rating of these things is a mystery. I do not know if this one has an IR coating or not. I'm guessing it does, hoping it doesn't.

Needs a spacer to work properly
I am using this with a Pi HQ camera. Lens is good, very adjustable, but zoom isn't too large. I think it was mentioned in another review, but the distance between the lens and the sensor isn't either CS or C-mount, it's somewhere in-between. The provided attachment isn't sufficient. I am lucky to have a 3D printer and I printed a 2mm spacer that sits right in the sweet spot of adjustments, between the base lens and the CS-mount. The C-mount adapter is too deep.
