Should you decide to do a permanent build later you can buy a better version of any of these components should you choose to do so. It comes with 40 projects with lessons for how to do each project. Again, this is a great way to learn what is possible with Raspberry Pi. Review: Great starter kit, a bit on the pricey side - This is a decent kit for the money. I like that it comes with an extended breadboard and also the GPIO extender, which is super useful. The rest is cheap stuff that you could get almost anywhere, and it has a nice selection of LED's as well. Nothing was defective in this kit either, and there was a nice chart so that you could check the resistor ratings in Ohm's in case you ever forgot or just needed a quick reference. There is a lot in that box. You can download a PDF manual for each project...I hate manuals...but low and behold they have video tutorials! Now lesson one was not great quality, the volume was too low and thank goodness for the subtitles. The good news is the sound quality gets better in later videos. If you or a child want to learn coding this is a great kit especially if you, like me need a video course to go with it. The tutorials are not the greatest, but they get the job done.
