There was a tsb on them old rattle style pcv valves and to replace them with this small fixed hole style to reduce oil consumption **Q: Fit 03 Silverado 4.8L?** A: It might, pull the one out you've got and if it's 11/16 diameter it will. Note, the one you've got should pull out easily, if it doesn't then not replaceable.
