Review: Great comfortable sandal but sizing is hit or miss - I love, love these shoes. During the quarantine, I spent my days working in the garden. I wore Crocs and have them in several colors. After about six months, I got a pain in my foot from them, which was diagnosed as an inflamed metatarsal. I bought one pair of these, and within one day, my foot stopped hurting, but only when I wore this shoe. I ordered them in four different colors, and now, two months later, my foot is fine in any shoe I wear. The one problem I have with this shoe is the sizing. Different colors run differently. I bought a blue print on QVC in 2 sizes, 7 Wide and 8 Medium. They fit pretty much the same and are perfect. On desertcart, I don't think that you can choose a width. The pink 8 was enormous, fitting like the top of a shoebox. The pink 7 was somewhat tight. The light gray is the same. It's a crapshoot as far as sizing goes. Zappo's carries them in both widths, but they are out of stock right now. Review: Size Matters - wide is not wide without work - Size Purchased: 9 Wide Venting: there is no such thing as standardized sizing in shoes & clothing, it all depends on the brand what size you wear and even that can vary. Reason Purchased: Arch Support with the ability to wear support socks for varicose veins. I assumed slides would be a little cooler than wearing enclosed shoes and socks during the summer. Pros: comfortable once you get them stretched out. Has arch soft arch support Cons: wide is really not wide. At first I could hardly get them on without socks, but they are a soft pliable rubber like material. So they stretch, wore them for a few days barefoot and now I can get them on with socks. Although they still need to be stretched out a little more. The rubber material and tightness makes them a little on the warm side, even though they are an open shoe. If I bought them again I would size up, not sure if that would make a difference in the width. Depending on the brand and whether I were socks my shoe size can vary between a 9 and a 10.5.

Size Matters - wide is not wide without work

Wrong size sent
They are very comfortable, if you get the correct size sent to you. I had to send back and get another pair which fit good. So I ordered a pair as a gift for my mother, they sent the wrong size to her and oddly enough the bottoms have a completely different labeling for sizes and they were at least two sizes too small. I give up.

Runs small order next size up
If you have skinny feet these shoes are perfect for you. I have problems with shoes being too wide & deep. These were very tight. I normally wear size 9 but they were small & exchanged for 10. I got the size 10 super fast from this seller. They got right back with me for the exchange. The 10 fits perfect but still a little snug on top of foot. I love the sparkles in the color it really looks pretty when the light hits it. These shoes are very supportive, light weight, good traction, very affordable & the footbed is non slip & has cushion so there is a bit of give when walking, not hard. I wear them in the house like some wear slippers but I needed more support than slippers for plantar faciitis & these work great even for standing a bit. They are also waterproof & will be perfect to use in the shower at the gym.

Didn’t work for me
I thought these would be so cute to wear on the beach. I ordered the 9W and 10W and they were too tight. They felt like a regular M size to me. The insole/footbed of the shoe was also very hard. I expected it to be softer. I think the bottom of the shoe is softer than the inside of the shoe. I will return them.

Not For Me
These run a little small and tight. Very cute for slip on's, but not good on me.

most comfortable sandals ever owned
These sandals were recommended by my podiatrist. Once I received them I ran them through a cycle on my dishwasher and while they were still hot/warm I put them on my bare feet and let them form around my feet like a glove. Now my feet just slide in them like they were made for me and I have no arch pain. Such a great shoe!!

My doctor recommended this brand and I’m very pleased with the fit, color and size
G**!
I need a supportive shoe, even if I am wearing sandals. I envisioned a lifetime of boring, ugly sandals until I found Spenco. These things are everything that I said in the title and more! I highly recommend them if you need support, or if you just want to look good.

The length of the slipppers is 0.5-1cm shorter than my other pair of spenco slippers and the sole is not non-slip (the other pair was) which I found disappointing. The arch support feels good.
