I also ran it to all of my basement rooms. Speeds on my cable modem are the same but that's not why I installed them. Solid base pure copper is the way to go and is why I did. These will be in my walls for ever so I went with the best option out there. I also used the Klein Universal F Compression Connector for RG6/6Q and they are a dream to work with.
