These filters are the set you need for the Watts UF-3 water filter. You buy this whole pack for 1 year's worth of filters The way it works is every 6 months, you need 1 red and 1 blue. Then you need the 1 purple replaced once a year. Replacing them is physically very easy. you don't even need to turn off the water supply. just push the button over each filter, grab it, empty the water from it out into the sink, and chuck the old one. To install the new one you simply remove the colored cap, then push the filter up into the filter head. Take note of the color on the head and make sure you are putting the right filter into the right spot. The heads tilt out if you need more flexibility. Push it in until it clicks and you will hear and feel the pressurized water flowing into the filter you just installed. Overall I like the filter. The water tastes great, and it filters so many things out that you really feel it has cleaned up your water to a very good level. The price is great for a year's worth of water filtering. It is much less than some other filters out there and it's extemely easy to change. Absolutely love this product

Absolutely fantastic filter that gets rid of most harsh, hard chemicals. This one does not distill water (does not get rid of all the additives from the water) as I read it was bad for you. It does however filters sand, soil, all kind of other nasty things. The water tastes ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! You can really taste the difference when drinking from the public fountain, at someone's house or anywhere else. I stopped buying bottled water long time ago as it is not regulated at all by any agencies in addition to it containing all kinds of absolutely nasty chemicals. By installing this filter you save money, environment and your health! Installment is comparatively easy, but does include some tools and time. The whole process room my husband about an hour. The good news is that once it is installed, you just change filters when it is time. They are pretty bulky under the sink, take about 6 inches of space from the wall to the inside of the cabinet. Brits filters are waste of money compare to this. Also, these are so much more convenient and hygienic! Love them!

I think the performance of these replacement filters is great. They're easy to replace, as I don't even need to turn the water off, and provide adequate filtration for my needs. However, the cost of this replacement pack has increased about 33% from the time of initial installation of the system. I find that the increase is unacceptable, considering that it appears to be the same exact product that was originally sold with the unit. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because of the unjustified price increase.

These filters work great for our water (South Carolina coast) which is heavy in minerals but overall low in pollution and colliform contamination (intestinal bacterial mostly from live stock drainage) according to the annual water report. The tap water has a musky smell related to the naturally occurring bacteria in the lake during the summer and heavy chlorine taste so we purchased the Watts Premier 531130 Filter-Pure UF-3 3-Stage Water Filtration System and have changed once. We have been using the water filter for about 1 year now and are very happy with the water flow rate and quality. We use this water filter several times and day including watering plants and boiling for cooking. It has a noticeable degradation in water quality at the 6 months mark but again your rate of changing will depend on your usage. We probably don't get much use of the micron filter as our water is essentially void of pathogenic organisms. Watts recommends changing the micro filter (purple) once a year. The others are changed in 6 month increments hence while you receive two of the blue and red filters. It really doesn't make financial sense to purchase these separately if you can even find them. Changing the filters is easy but I recommend releasing the water pressure by turning off the water supply and turning on the counterpart supply. I learned the hard way that changing these filters with full pressure can result in water return into your face. Have a towel and bucket/pan ready because there will be some water drippings regardless.

We've used for 8 years under our kitchen sink, large family, and love it. Water tastes as good or better than bottled water, and we've eliminated thousands of plastic bottles for our family. I also use for cooking, boiling pasta, and making pitchers of homemade iced tea. Love it! Plus it's easy to change filters when time. Enjoy!

I have been using these filters on my system for 4 years now. Does a wonderful job and I really like the quick change of the cartridges. This is the second time I order replacements and I am very happy with the quality and ease of use and the quality of the filtered tap water I get. I use the filtered water for all that is drink related. The ice cubes made with the filtered water are completely transparent, assuring me of reduced to zero solids in the water. Excellent stuff

I put this filtration system in my boat. It turned the water from my holding tanks, which tasted quite bad of fibreglass, into pure, tasteless, wonderful drinking water that my wife and I couldn't tell from bottled water. It's an absolutely amazing water filtration system. No more carrying bottled water down to the boat !

These are great filters that are very easy to install. We have been using this system for many years and are very happy with the product.

Great product. Water taste great. Easy installation even though I had to spend a few bugs to buy hose adapter. A couple of things to mention why I am not rating 5 stars. 1) it comes with faucet. ( not everyone necessary needs one) 2) It comes with three filters but two of them are good for only 6 months and one is good for a year. It does not make sense especially if you can not purchase individual filters and buy them in a bundle of three.
