The Colt 45 of aquarium filtration
These sheets remain the best filter floss on the market! No idea where InTank(Stevie-T) gets their hands on it but its been my go-to floss since I've run an aquarium with media baskets (since at least 2014). Easy to cut to size and does a fantastic job reliably clearing the water column. I change out my filter squares weekly; I don't find washing and reusing to be effective unless I'm filtering after a big re-scape or cleaning operation. The Colt 45 of aquarium filtration needs - keep plenty on-hand!

AWESOME!
Using this in two fluval c4's along with the c4 poly sponge (with the poly part removed) on a 40 gallon overstocked aquarium. After trying every other brand possibly on Amazon I finally found a true BONDED polypad that is not see-through. I've rinse these multiple times and they hold up well and best of all they work. Highly recommended.

Good value but man, I hate cutting these things to size.
I have a Fluval Flex 32.5 reef tank. I use this stuff for the top chamber of the InTank filter baskets I replaced the stock baskets with. I change out the filter floss weekly and just toss it out and replace it. You might be able to rinse it out and get a little more use out of them but the giant bag of floss pads lasts forever, literally 6 months or maybe more with a single time use and you don’t run the risk of creating a sewage factory in your tank. The worst part about this stuff is having to cut out the rectangles to fit the filter basket. When I get a new bag with the 3 giant sheets, I just cut them all into the right size strips and then cut the strips into the right size final pads all at once. I typically take the measurements (wrote mine on the bag in my review photo) and I sit on the sofa watching TV and knock it out. Takes quite a while but then I’m set for the next 6+ months so it’s worth it. Depending on how much. You feed, you may have to change them out more or less often but I find that once a week during water changes is sufficient for my tank. I don’t have any nuisance algae or other problems as of 18 months in with this tank and everything seems happy. This filter floss obviously doesn’t do it all but it is my only mechanical filtration on the tank, the rest is up to the clean up crew and biological filtration from sand and rocks, oh, and a skimmer I rarely turn on.

Very pleased.
Im definitely no pro and I just started up my first tank, ever. I am also using a filter for the first time. But it doesnt take a pro to know that these are really great sponges. The two part sponge filters that came with my HOB is what I used while I ordered some higher quality brand name sponges, and then a couple days later I saw this and ordered it too. The expensive brand name filters are still sitting in the box. I doubt Ill ever use them. Maybe as a back up. The sponge that came with my HOB couldnt do in several days what this stuff did in 2. Its pretty nasty looking after two days which means its doing a great job of filtering. I changed the first one before I was educated about the fact that I should let my media sit until my tank is more well established to let that bacteria grow. Im using this with some ceramic bio media and am very pleased so far. Like someone mentioned it really does swell quite a bit so I recommend cutting it smaller than needed. It seems to swell to about 1.5-2xs its original size. After 2 days this sponge is starting to swell so much (and being pretty dirty probably doesnt help either) that my HOB is starting to flow where it shouldnt because the water cannot get around/thru the sponge easy enough. Excellent. Will buy more before the price can jump (like highly rated items tend to do) and it should last me forever!

Happy fishies!
Decided to give this filter media a try in my 32 gallon bow front saltwater setup because I got tired of paying tons of money for filters at the big box stores. It comes in a big zip lock type bag and you can easily cut the material to whatever size you need for your tank. It works great and is 100 times lower cost than big box stores. Very happy with this product and will be purchasing again in the future. Thanks.

Works very well, highly recommend.
InTank makes great products and has amazing customer service. I am running this media as my first layer in a flex 15 tank with the inTank chamber 1 and 2 upgrades and it works very well. There is some residue that will come through the blue side as this is good for down to about 400 microns. I added a water polishing pad at 50 microns under this and it works very well together. These pads will capture a ton of debris though so be aware they may need to be changed often. I do mine once a week, not to worry though as there are a few big sheets included to be easily cut to size, great value for the money.

Easy to see what's being removed from the water.
So far, I like this Intank brand filter floss because you can easily see what it’s removing from your water and it’s very easy to cut with scissors to whatever size your filter is. My water clarity has improved since adding it to my tank. Right now, I am using it in my reef tank which is a Fluval Evo 13.5 in an Intank media basket on the top shelf. As far as negatives, I’ve haven’t found anything negative yet however I will update my review as to how long it lasts before I need to replace with a new piece. I don’t see this effecting my satisfaction with this floss though, as the portion received was rather large and inexpensive to buy. Update: I use this in the overflow of my Evo and in the top shelf of the 2nd chamber (Intank Media basket). The portion in the overflow only lasts about 3-4 days usually before it's pretty dirty and needs replacing as nitrates will rise if not cleaned (just like the need to change filter socks in a traditional sump). The piece in the top of the Intank basket lasts 2 weeks. I do tend to overfeed and stir up detritus often, so I'm sure that doesn't help. I'm on my second order now, not sure if I will continue to purchase this brand or not in the future.
