Very worth the money
Just used it, very good value for money it was on sale, much better than a lot of vacuums I've had in the past not even joking, it's easy to use and you don't even have to move stuff because the swivel thing is really nice, the suction is insanely good it feels professional grade, it picks up dust and everything nicely, it's weight is very light, and it's design is nice too

Great little canister vac
I prefer canisters because they're so much easier to use on stairs, and we moved into a townhome with two flights of carpeted stairs going up 3 floors. This little guy does a great job. Cord is long enough for the length of the stairs, the dustbin is big enough, and the attachments are sturdy. We have two robot vacs that daily clean the carpets, but we also have two Siberian Huskies that have *all* the fur. So especially during shedding season, I need something powerful to get what the robots can't (the downstairs robot was about to go on strike as we are at the height of the "fall shed", and if it weren't for me going over with the Eureka, the robot would have tried to run away from home). It's done a great job picking up what they can't. It's easy to use, even without a powered brush roll, it glides along easily and still has great suction. I highly recommend for pet owners. Two Huskies are top notch testers when it comes to vacuums, this one passes their tests.

Innovative design, superior power. 1 star deducted because of short cord and no crevice tool
Got this to compliment my Oreck upright. I'm a Senior with bad knees, and my rescue parrots make a mess with feathers, food, etc. This gives me 2 lightweight, powerful cleaning options, depending on the type of vacuuming I need to do. It really is an amazing design, with integrated dusting brush, miniscule canister, large wheels for easy rolling and the 'bagless' canister that sucks up a whole lot of stuff off the floor and is ez as anything to empty out. You DO have to occasionally hand-wash the filter; but thats simple and once it dries, its ready to go. I have only 2 quibbles; but, they're important enough for me to deduct a full star: 1) The power cord is extremely short: more akin to the length on an electric broom than a full-fledged vacuum. As a result, I have to plug/unlplug/replug several times to clean a 1-bedroom apartment. 2) The crevice tool has always been a standard (and very important) attachment for canister vacs going back decades. Eureka does NOT include one with this vac; although you can see it for order on the same page. Totally worth it; but, Eureka should include it, even if it means adding a few bucks to the price Overall I am very, very pleased with this vacuum, its power, ease of use and the overall quality of its construction. If you are in the market for a canister vac, this is one to consider

Best Vacuum I ever had (I had quite a few)
I recently got a Shark stickvacuum (the more expensive kind )and had problems with my wrist. Because it's so heavy, and problems with my ears because of the high pitched sound of it's motor, as well as the suction, which isn't all that great. All these problems have been resolved with this Eureka canister vac. What an excellent vacuum cleaner. The handle is light weight, it's a breeze to vacuum and I can finish all rooms, no fatigue. The motor is strong and not that noisy, it makes no high pitched and is pleasant to the ears. But most important is the suction power and the super easy cleaning of this vac. Phantastic! I'm over the moon. And between all the Bissells (which are good!), Sharks Hoovers and such. This one and Siemens are the best.

This SUCKS!!!
This is the best vacuum I've ever had. It feels as if it's getting the dirt from under the carpet, thats how strong it is. Lightweight, easy to use. Can't go wrong with this vacuum. Stop wasting your money on vacuums that can barely clean, this does the best job!

A+ ... almost perfect!
I've had a few good vacuums over the years (I'm 65) but probably didn't start using them with any experience until the early 70s. I've owned Kirby, Hoover, Miele and my most favorite was/is my Rainbow Cleaning System. 6 years ago I moved into a "tiny house" and my Rainbow was just too big and cumbersome for 400 sq ft. I purchased a inexpensive Eureka Blaze and was surprised at how easy it was to use yet actually did an adequate, no frills job in picking up the dust/dirt/pet hair and debris from my 100% vinyl plank flooring home. After almost 3 years, it began to lose suction and I again started my research into a small vacuum that was inexpensive and easy to use in my small tiny house with all hard surface flooring. My search led me to EUREKA WHIRLWIND bagless canister vacuum. THIS THING SUCKS ... as in a phenomenal way for any size vacuum cleaner ... I was blown away at such a fantastic job it did at picking up everything! I do have a few small rugs that it did a very good job on but because of its superb suction, I had difficulty keeping them on the floor. I first cleaned all 400 sq ft ... even though it was recently done just 4 days prior with my Eureka Blaze. Wow ... it filled up the canister around 3/4 full of stuff! Like most people have mentioned ... the retractable cord is nice ... and I found for a tiny house a 16 ft cord was plenty big ... but something perhaps for others to consider. I'm 6 ft tall and enjoy having the telescoping metal portion totally extended and LOVED how flat the vacuum head pivots almost flat to go under furniture, etc ... a huge plus! The built-on retractable brush/crevice tool is a good addition for all items at eye level or below ... but it is totally impossible to use the attachment on my blinds or ceiling fans unless I hold it up by the handle ... doable but not ideal. Since I'm pretty tall and was limited by the attachment's length/reach ... I bought one of the recommended inexpensive set of attachments (6 piece set) which included a totally necessary adapter in order to make the attachments function with the Eureka Whirlwind. I attached the adapter to the end of the metal telescoping wand and then all of the brush/crevice attachments fit right into the adapter ... the results were perfect! I was able to clean the upper part of higher windows and even my ceiling fan! For those reviews who said these inexpensive attachments do not fit ... my guess (???) is that they forgot to use the provided adapter. Truthfully, for the price ... even with adding on the cost of the adapter with attachments ... it did a really, REALLY great job ... LOVE IT! As far as who I believe would benefit from purchasing this vacuum cleaner ... definately those who have all or mostly all hard surface flooring. Also, I think that people who are on a budget and don't mind a canister style vacuum cleaner ... they, too will love this. For me ... for this tiny house with solid surface flooring ... it is almost perfect. What would have made it perfect? Well, if the adapter and attachments would have been provided ... then it would pretty much have been perfect!!!

Compact and Lightweight. Good Suction but Oh! So Loud!
I got this for quick cleanup jobs like the kitchen hard floor after cooking. Whereas you can get powerful cordless vacuums, they're pricy so this seemed to fit the bill. Now that I have tried it however, I could do the whole house including carpeted areas though it's high power means emptying the small container frequently (I have 5 cats so there's always loads of pet hair). Lack of a motor brush head means It does carpets/rugs ok and hard floors very well. It's light enough that you can carry it in use like when doing the stairs though the power cord being only 16 feet means I have to stop halfway to move the plug to another outlet. The cyclone works very well retaining pretty much everything; the filter then stopping fine dust from escaping so long as the tank does not overfill. Auto cord-rewind works fine. I imagine this would be good for kids having simple controls and being so small and light. That all said, I returned it because it runs so very loud, I mean shop vac. loud, deafening. What did you say? I canโt hear you! Yes, that bad; I wore hearing protection. The manufacturerโs spec. is 82 dB but not at what distance; Iโm guessing 5 meters or more. Of course, at this price I did not expect it to be as quiet as my $600 Dyson Animal Canister (over which you can have a normal conversation) but the noise is honestly ridiculous. I ended up buying a competitorโs product here on Amazon (very similar in price, size, rating, weight, cost, design, suction power, even the same all-too-short power cord) but I donโt think Iโm supposed to cite the make and model here. Anyway I kept hold of the Eureka for a few days so I could compare them and they are indeed very similar except for the noise. The one Iโm keeping is under 70 dB at the same 5 meter distance (I used a phone app sound meter) so less than half as loud; still not as quiet as the Dyson but perfectly acceptable and no need for ear muffs. It's possible I got a bad one but nothing sounds like a bad bearing, broken fan blade etc. just a very loud vacuum cleaner.

Beastly wee vacuum
This awesome little vacuum is a winner for me. I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome which impairs my ability to move around a regular vacuum. My little vacuum is light, easy to move, cleans my carpet and wood floors and overall an awesome little beast. Thank you for making this vacuum Eureka

Came with type A plug ! Canโt use it in Europe.
Didnโt get a chance to test it.The vacuum cleaner came with type A plug for USA/Canada/Japan even though it was ordered in Spain from Spanish Amazon. Returning.

Great vacuum
In a home with 3 little kids a vacuum it's a MUST, and this was a really good deal, the price is great and the vacuum has a great suction and a tank with a big capacity so i can vacuum all my apartment, also is so light weight and easy to handle. 100% recommended.

I don't regret it!
Bought it last December because I was tired of my broom and my back was screaming to buy one. The last vacuum I bought was a total flop beside the prestigious name and humongous price so this time I took the time to read reviews and do some research for the real reason we need one here. We don't have carpet it's mainly ceramic and hard woods floors, but we have a bunny. So I ended my choice on this model and boy I'm glad I did!! This bad boy have succion and it's so easy to move around the house to clean. No need to pass twice, super easy to empty & clean the canister. You can easily go under any furniture without having to move them. Even my youngest can easily use it. I'm super satisfied and from now on I'm a Eureka family member

Not very good on shag or thick pile carpets
This machine works well on hardwood and other smooth surface floors. Not good at all on shag or thick pile carpets. Not too good on stairs that are carpeted. Suction seems satisfactory. This machine would be much better if it had a revolving brush in the head, like most other vacuum cleaners. If it had a revolving brush in the head it would probably work much better on thick carpets. For our house, I would not buy one like this again.
