This cable works great for using to connect my laptop to a dock with then connects with 3 external monitors & a power supply. The dock came with a short cord that I never used because it was so short. I did buy several other 2 ft cords like this & they worked fine, but the monitors took a long time to wake up from sleep (only a couple of seconds but still). With this cable, they was up instantly. I know that this one is thunderbolt & that it has more bandwidth. I'm not sure how all of that equates with video performance, but I figured that this would meet all of my needs (as it's compatible with all of the lower USB-C types. Don't know what exactly my dock needs, but I can say that this cable surpasses the minimum requirements & provides a noticeable improvement over the last cable I used.

I use this cord to connect my laptop to multiple screens, as I work from home. I like that I can bring it with me when I travel and it's all I need. It rapid charges, connects monitors and works as an HDMI cable does. The only cable you'll need. My first cable wore a bit down and the cable started to tear the rubber coating at the head, which led to the wires bending and breaking. I called customer service, and they immediately took care of me and sent me a replacement cable, no hassle at all. The new cable has been working like a charm. No signs of defect, I think the first one was a fluke.

I had tried a lower cost Thunderbolt 4 2-meter cable that claimed it was certified. Gosh that cable gave me all sorts of fits and issues, no it wasn't an active certified cable - fraudulent claims otherwise. After buying this Plugable Thunderbolt 4 2m cable my docking station and system ran perfect. Even at 2 meters in length, this Plugable performed like a champ. The male plugs were sturdier and made better connections into the female Thunderbolt slots on my laptop/dock as well - far better quality. If you need a Thunderbolt 4 cable of any length, save yourself some headaches and buy Plugable. This company makes and sells the real deal. The price is also reasonable, another plus.

Cable is as advertised. Nice ends. I ordered this cable to hook up my Quantum 2626. Worked like it should as easy as 1,2,3. There was another cable from a different company that was $ 2.00 cheaper but this cable came with a 2 year warranty so for $2.00 more you got a good warranty. It was a no brainier to spend the $2.00 more for a 2 year warranty.

Tested it with a thunderbolt port on a thinkpad T480, to connect it to a USBC hub (which is compatible with both USB or thunderbolt), it caused weird issues. Connecting it directly with USBC port does work proper and sends video too without issues.

Sturdy, durable cable. And this Active cable is fast & has worked flawlessly with my M1 Max MacBook Pro & GShuttle drives.

Did not have the expected durability. I purchased this cable 2 years ago for $30, expecting the price to reflect a high quality cable that would last me a long time. Unfortunately, out of all my cables, this is the only one that has frayed and become damaged, despite being stationary at my desk, and only moved when it's unplugged from the laptop. I've had much better luck with cable matters in terms of durability (as you can see pictured). Of course, they only provide a 2 year warranty meaning I'm just out of luck with getting a replacement from them. Connectivity wise, it provided accurate speeds. Just expected more value for the price I was paying.

The thunderbolt cable that came with my Dell monitor had loads of issues with dropouts of the display and the usb connections. Swapped to this cable and have had zero problems so far. Unreal and much cheaper than the Apple equivalent. Working on m1 air, m2 pro and m3 max

I've been using this cable for a couple of weeks and so far its been working great. I use it to connect my M1 Macbook Pro to a thunderbolt 4 dock that has 2 external drives, 1 monitor, and 2 software authorization keys and everything works as well as it would plugged directly into the computer and supplies power to the computer as well. I expected such a robust cable sending so much data and power to be quite stiff but it is surprisingly supple. I would buy it again especially since apple is charging $300 for a cable with the same specifications.

My Plugable Thunderbolt 4 cables arrived promptly and in perfect condition. My TB4 cables are working flawlessly.
