Hello, yes you can use this kit to repair your HDD as well as all Seagate SATA HDDs up to 3TBs. Although it can be used on windows 10, we strongly sugest that youbuse it on windows 7 because of the many limitations of windows 10 and 8. Please note that officially we support it for windows 7.

Can this kit fix seagate st91000430as (5400 rpm) firmware?

DfS is compatible with st91000430as . However if the drive has head damage, you will need to replace it's heads inside a clean room so that you can recover your data.

My hdd is a seagate st31000528as 9sl154-023 7200.12 that is not detected in bios but sounds perfectly fine. is this what i need to recover the data?

I have not been able to get this tool to work on 7200.12 drives but was able to get it to work with 7200.11 drives.

Does this actually do anything? I have connected it to two bad and one good seagate drive and I get nothing from your software/hardware.

Vielleicht gut, konnte man mit keine Festplatte retten

Für mich war es verschenktes Geld. Ursprünglich wollte ich meine Seagate-Festplatte damit retten. Dies hat leider nicht funktioniert. Danach habe ich mir mehrere defekte Platten besorgt, die ein ähnliches Problem hatten. Auch hier keinen Erfolg. Wer seine Daten liegt, sollte es dennoch testen, bevor man es teuer einschickt.
