Worked straight away, just put the batteries in, no set up or code required.Why did I struggle for so long with the old dodgy remote and it's worn buttons. I should have bought this earlier.Perfect replacement.

This remote is a great replacement for my Sony Bravia TV. It works perfectly straight out of the box with no setup required, and all the buttons function as expected. The build quality is solid, and it feels just like the original.However, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because one of the printed buttons has started to wear away after a few uses. It’s a minor issue, but I expected the printing to last longer.Overall, it’s still a reliable and convenient replacement remote, and I’d recommend it for anyone needing a quick and easy solution for their Sony Bravia.

Worked straight away after the original remote gave up the ghost....have to slightly depress the buttons more than the original so what, delivered in less than 24 hrs very happy

Incredible for the price! I'm sure sony charge around £50+ for an original remote.For £5..This works perfectly with my 100" not compensating 4k oled bravia TV, not making out I have a 6k TV although I do, but that's irrelevant so stop asking. The remote however is really good. I think it would even pass the drop test etc it's made that well, with a quality matt material.Defo recommend especially if you have a Sony set up eg TV, music system & dvd while using the Xm5 earphones all in all about 10k and is like a cinema in your house! House not apartment. But anyway stop it!..it's about the remote, and it's good!

You can’t expect a high-quality product when paying only a fraction of the price of a genuine item. This remote control is poorly made—you have to press the buttons hard to get them to work. It seems like the buttons aren’t long enough, so when you press them, your finger hits the casing before the button can properly engage the internal mechanism.I purchased another aftermarket remote from eBay a few months ago, and I decided to try this one from Amazon. I believe they’re made in the same factory, and the quality is equally low. I do not recommend this product—save your money and invest in a genuine remote instead
