I was hoping to use this to try and ninja some grease into those tough to reach spots and without globing it on. I managed this with solid success. I think some people that have had issues with this applicator are suffering from a little bit of user error. I've used it as follows with zero issues: - Cut nothing, the nozzle is very narrow and good to go out of the box. - Twist the tip counter clockwise to line to nozzle up with the tube port. The port looks like a little white dot inside the clear plastic. - Locked n' loaded; Squirt it right where you want it. Despite the size of the small nozzle no need to put too much force into it. - Pull the plunger back a bit to clear excess lube out from the nozzle. - Twist the tip clockwise to slide the nozzle away from the port and close the tube off from the open air. - Done. I'll check it again in a couple weeks to see if the nozzle gunks up at all, though if it does I imagine it's nothing a very fine sewing needle wouldn't take care of.
