The Netherland Dwarf rabbit is immensely popular in the UK and I have bred and exhibited them on and off for over 30 years now. This book was inspired by social media posts where breeders and owners expressed confusion or ignorance in either identifying the colour of their rabbits or requested information on what they would get if they crossed 2 x certain coloured rabbits or even sometimes what colour they should mate their rabbit to. A lot of misinformation often ensued with replies and so this bookโs synopsis was born. Please take this book as it was writtenโฆ as in itโs a Guide that is there for you to dip into if ever you are unsure of something or have a query.**PLEASE NOTE: Although focused on the Dwarf rabbit the colour descriptions can be applied to most breeds so useful for Lops, etc.Also although this book is mainly UK biased I have where possible added the colour terms used in other countries as well but it is obviously impossible to add every name used around the world so please bear this in mind Review: Different Colors - Gives details on almost everything you would want to know about this breed of rabbits. Different Colors
Gives details on almost everything you would want to know about this breed of rabbits. I had a hard time understanding the different colors of rabbits before this book. Like what is the difference between a lilac and blue colored rabbit, was some of the questioned I had. This book explained the difference and answered so many more questions I had. I would definitely recommend this book.

It was great book and good info about color of Netherland Dearf. It was only recognized in UK but some of color have recognized in USA. It's great reference for people to know about their color of netherland dwarf.

Written in the UK, the photos are really great for people trying to decipher the shaded group. Pretty easy read.

This book was worth it. It talks about the genetics and what color you can breed to what color. I love it.

Great for people who love Netherland dwarfs
I love this book! I love looking at dwarf bunny photos! It isn't up to date when it comes to certain newer varieties. Some of the photos are of the first breeding rounds of breeding lutinos! (Not all just some) I wish they would do an update and write more Netherland dwarf books!

Worth it.
Iโve kept Netherlands for over thirty years and now a small time breeder. I know the most common colours but struggle with some of the others. This book not only gives the breed standard in the uk, but most have a coloured picture. It also explains the genetics and colour genes.

Excellent reference read
This book has been well thought through and laid out. The structure and information is easy to read and is very informative, makes an excellent Reference book. Well worth the money for a book you will use for many years to come.
