Bore Sight Kit, Laser Boresighter with Magnetic Connection, Protect The Barrel from Damage, Red and Green Laser for 0.17 to 10 Caliber, Suitable for All Steel Guns

I have a long bore-mounted laser bore Sighter but it would not work on a S&W 2.0” snub-nose revolver with Crimson Trace Green Laser Grips. The barrel is too short. This one worked perfect and will work with ANY firearm, even shotguns. Most of my laser sights are green lasers, so I chose the red unit for better convergence contrast. Uses a nice CR-123 battery and has a rubber off and on switch, so no dead battery. I have to remove the battery in my longer bore-mounted bore-sighter or the battery goes dead every time. Not that it matters now, I’ll likely never use the old one again.

I had four new/used rifles to sight in, and 3 I had put a new scope on. I sighted in at 25 yrds, which is what I suggest to start. A couple of them were way-off the mark, but the laser allowed me to align the reticle according to where the laser was on the target before firing. All four results were close, within 2" at most, and then I could easily adjust the scope to bullseye. Sure saves wasting ammo... These people who are complaining about not being able to align the bore sighter with the barrel don't understand how it works, and they don't understand, because they either didn't read the directions, or they have a problem with reading comprehension... The bore sighter doesn't require being centered with the barrel!... Get this bore sighter. You'll be glad you did.

This bore sight is of good quality, nice little box it comes in and sticks in place well on the barrel.... but! It's very difficult to get centered because you are really just guessing...does that look straight? I really cant be sure. I wish I had bought a caliber specific bore sight that would ensure its centered. I know that no bore sight is going to be 100% but it should be close. I used on 3 different firearms at just 5yds... one was off about 3.5 in, second was off 4.5in and the third was over 5in off. Works best on firearms where the barrel sticks out past the slide... none of my 3 did unfortunately.

Using this magnetic laser bore sight was as straightforward as one could hope for. I thought it would be much more complicated so it was money well spent. It’s a well made tool and came in a case that can endure years of future use.

Bought this product in February 25. Never used until recently, hadn’t even put the battery in the unit. Put a brand new battery in expecting it to work and nothing. Thought it may have been an issue with the battery so I tried one that I know is good and the same thing. Very dissatisfied

Purchased the RED. Circles on the magnet(strong hold)make centering bore easier. Worked great in moderate sunlight at 50yds. Laser is very fine with small “dot” so being steady will help you find the laser “dot”. Looking through scope much easier. The dot is very bright on anything metal so imagine the reflective targets will be great at longer distances. Used this at dusk and had no problem seeing dot at 70yds(remember-steady the laser). Red vs Green? For price point RED was all I needed to get me on paper. Yes it works great with stainless barrels. Great product!

Precise aiming and brightness. came with a battery that seems rechargeable but did not come with a charger. I have a universal charger which made it possible to recharge. overall i think it is a good option, however there are better ones out in the market. it is just decent in keeping the value for what it is. nothing more nothing less

The description says it uses a AAA, but it actually uses a CR123A lithium battery, That's a pretty big disappointment because I was planning to use one of my AAA rechargeable batteries. :-( I nearly returned it, but the product's functionality was good enough for me to keep, despite the battery description error. If it had used a AAA, I would've given it 5 stars.
