Great little Blue Ray Player
Picture quality: This has a great picture that anyone will be happy with. Movies, sports, games, the picture is perfect. Freeze resistance: I'm satisfied with this and have no complaints so far. Ease of use: This couldn't be easier to use and the remote certainly helps make that happen. Quality: It's a small unit, it seems to be built tough and Sony is a top notch company. Wireless connectivity: Easy peasy connectivity. Just need wi-fi and a movie!

It is what you would expect from a Sony product
A quality you would expect from Sony, with enough bells and whistles that you feel like you have reasonable control over what's happening. Easy to set up and easy to operate. I have had no problem with skipping or freezing or anything like that

Easy to set up - died in just over a year of ownership.
Fits the ticket. Good for the price. Beware that it’s 12 volt so its transformer hogs 3 spaces on a power strip. Update - unit died. Worked fine one day and not the next. So just over 1 year of very light usage and it is trash.

Not for streaming!
If your sole purpose is to play discs then this unit is fine. If you plan on using it for streaming services (Netflix, YouTube,etc.) in addition to discs then save your aggravation and look elsewhere. I bought one and thought it must be defective so returned for replacement. Second unit has same issues. Buffering at the beginning of a show may be a Netflix issue (for instance) but the unit itself should not become non-responsive and lock up, which this one does. Your only choice is to power cycle it. Frankly I'm embarrassed for Sony and I don't even know anyone who works there. It's basically bottom of the heap in that regard. Just junk as a streaming platform.
