I've been using chunk mesquite in my Weber for years. This is the first time I bought it from Amazon and Weber. The wood is healthy and dense, works perfectly, and adds the flavor that you expect it to. It's not cheap, but it gets the job done right.

I used this to smoke ten pounds of chicken, wood didnt burn too fast (I soaked it in water first) and it had a good scent.

We found these to be too big to burn properly on our smoker. If your using a big fire, or a outside pit, they may work for you, but on our electric patio smoker, just don't get hot enough to generate enough smoke.

Got these for my brother in law who has a huge smoke cooker. I did my research and discovered that the wood chunks are more appealing and useful to your avid experienced cook using a large smoker. I ordered three different flavours. Due to my inexperience I didn’t realize how huge these bags were going to be. He loved them and is super excited to try them out, although hasn’t been able to yet.
